I am only sixteen, so I basically just have teen acne but it was starting to get ridiculous and I have tried just about everything. Nothing worked until this; it literally cleared my skin in over a weekend. The first night I got this product my acne was very bad and the next morning I got up and looked in the mirror astonished at how much my face had changed. It not only made the pimples shrink and disappear, it got rid of red spots from previous ones too!

I was on this product for 1 month and just couldn't take it anymore. I had called their customer service number, and one of the representatives said that my face would break out before it would heal. I did just that, but I would never STOP breaking out. I went to my OB/GYN begging for help with my skin (I thought that maybe it was hormones). He put me on birth control pills and prescribed me a topical antibiotic and I started using Dove soap. In one day my skin has improved tremendously! Just some advice if this product doesn't work for you.

When I first started using this product my skin and chest broke out worse than I had ever seen! Three days later, like promised, I noticed dramatic results. My skin became clearer, my blackheads minimal, and even the redness left over from zits I'd had 6 years ago began to disappear! After a month of using this product, my face is continuing to clear, but extremely slow now. It was a rapid change for the first 2 weeks, now it is slowing down, but it is still working. I have not had a new zit in 3 weeks!

Yes, it dries out your skin for the first couple of weeks. Yes, my acne got just a little bit worse the first two days, and yes, I wanted to give up. I have had horrible acne for years, but it was getting so bad that I was afraid to be seen - I even hated family pictures, but Acne Free has changed that in just over a month. A month! If you have lived your life with this curse, what's another month or so? My skin still gets a little dry if I use too much of the product, but my acne is going away. I wake up and I finally feel proud to be seen. It's your turn to feel as beautiful as you are. Just give it a chance.

I absolutely love this product! I have used everything (ProActive, Neutragena, Accutane, etc.). Only the Accutane worked, but it is too expensive and a very harsh treatment. I picked up AcneFree out of desperation at Wal-Mart and it was the best thing I did! My skin looks absolutely wonderful! I would recommend this product to anyone.

I hate to disagree with a lot of folks in here, but I would not suggest this as a choice unless you're willing to take a chance and live with worse acne then you had. I have used other products similar to this in the past when my I've had breakouts (Proactive and Proacne) with various degrees of SUCCESS. All this stuff did was make my skin break out ten times worse. I have used this stuff for 2 and a half weeks and my skin now looks like I had bad acne before. I'm shocked. I have never seen a bigger 4-part zit then the inflamed one I have next to my nose right now. I'm very upset; not only did I waste the money on this, but also I have to pray I don't get scars from this.

I am in my early 20's with very sensitive but oily skin. I have used Proactiv off and on with great results but it does not fit my current budget. I tried a sample size of AcneFree that I bought at SaveOn and will not be purchasing the actual product. It dried my skin out which aggravated it and caused more of a breakout. The cleanser was watery compared to the creamy/grainy exfoliating texture of Proactiv's cleanser. The toner was MUCH too harsh for my skin- it made it dry, tight and flakey (I assume this is due to the high alcohol content-Proactiv toner is alcohol-free & contains Glycolic acid for skin smoothing) The repair lotion was ok... definitely not as creamy as Proactiv. All in all, I'm so sad that I found AcneFree too drying and not exfoliating enough. I plan on trying Klear Action, which I found through this site- it appears to have much more comparable ingredients to those found in Proactive which worked wonders for my skin! Hope this helps!

I've used ProActive and pretty much every skin cleansing system that Macy's sells. Nothing has worked as well as AcneFree. I'm 32 and I've suffered from acne since about age 12. Not severe, but ever present. This is the first time my skin has COMPLETELY cleared up. I still get the occasional pimple, but that's to be expected. I use this product religiously and have noticed it works significantly better if you use a clean washcloth to wash your face and really exfoliate it (with the washcloth). The woman who does my facials recommended this, and it's REALLY helped my skin. I give it 5*s and you can't beat the price!

This is a fantastic product! I have used everything including prescription antibiotics like tetracycline (which darked my gums to a lovely shade of gray)! I am 38 and have been fighting adult acne for years. This stuff is great. My skin got really dry and irritated for about the first week and a half, but I stuck with it. When my skin was used to it, the dryness and redness went away. I am now free of acne! I would recommend this to anyone who has also tried everything. I would also like to add that I don't just get an occassional pimple, but had many large breakouts. Good luck!

I started using AcneFree about 6 months ago when my prescription cleanser from my dermatologist started making my skin too dry. At first I used all of the products as directed, but as others had mentioned my skin got really irritated and red. I then started using just the cleanser and noticed a big improvement in my skin. I also have noticed that you only need a very small amount to cleanse your face, and if I overuse the cleanser my face will feel kind of tight. My skin looks the best it has in years now. I only wish that they sold just the cleanser by itself and not the whole kit together. I notice that other reviewers mention ProActiv. I would like to say that I tried the ProActiv also, but I prefer the AcneFree because it has no added fragrance. The ProActiv has added fragrance and fragrance is an irritant to sensitive skin.
