This stuff stinks

Bottom Line: not recommended

I am a teen who suffers with breakouts due to hormones i tried this about a month ago and have seen no results. It didn't make my skin any worse but it definetley didn't make it any better. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who is fed up with their acne like i am.

Oh My God this is the best product ever!!! Especially being in front of camera I always need to look my best. I tried this for the first time and I almost had immediate results. I am on it for 4 days now my face is best of the best. It may be drying at first but as soon as it adjusts to your skin it would be fine. I absolutely love this product. Thank you AcneFree

I gave this product a 5 because the lotion is amazing. It actually heals skin so good. For instance, I had a really bad cut on my face from work. I was out of Neosporin to put on it, so I decided that putting lotion on it was better than nothing. Since this was the only face lotion I had, I used it. And I had amazing results! The deep cut I had on my face pretty much healed over night -- and Neosporin wasn't healing it THAT well. I know the lotion is runny, but it works! I wish you could just buy this lotion. I absolutely love it.

This is a terrible product. I started using it about a month ago and I've barely seen any positive results. My skin has never looked worse. This product is reason why I've had more than six under the skin zits, at the same time. The only reason why I'm rating this a two is because I noticed there was a reduction in the size of my pores. Don't waste your money.

Been using it since Thursday night, I have already seen improvement in my skin. My problem area is my t-zone, I have mild to moderate acne in this area. My skin is used to the peroxide because I have some in prescription. It has burned my eyes just a tiny bit but not serious; I was able to cope with it. No burning since then and now I didn't use around the eye area. It has minimized and gotten rid of some of the bumps and blackheads. Blackheads have turned into whiteheads and surfaced. This is the first time I've tried an acne kit rather than just some OTC medicine. I wanted to try Proactiv but chose this instead and I'm very impressed. It's not a miracle worker but it's getting there. I can see that it is working for me. Acne can be a very serious problem.

I like this a lot as alternative to Proactiv. Like most everyone else that has switched over, Proactiv was just getting too expensive. So I tried a few different products that were not cutting it, until I finally stumbled upon acne free. I bought it just the other day and I've used it twice. Already my skin is starting to feel softer and looks clearer. However, just like Proactiv, for me anyway, I noticed a little irritation and slight itching. I think it's the benzyol peroxide in both products, but my skin got used to it with Proactiv, so hopefully after a few more uses it will go away, that's why I only gave it 4 stars right now.

The website for the product even says you may break out a little while the product draws out impurities in your face. My face broke out a little more for a few days when I first started, so don't get discouraged. My skin really cleared up and my pores, which are huge, even looked smaller and smoother. My skin really looks better, my skin wasn't irritated by the product and while I get the occasional pimple, it isn't nearly as bad or last as long.

This stuff works. I don't usually write reviews, nor am I being paid to write this one, but I think people ought to know this product works as advertised. You do need to follow the directions; use twice daily and it will reduce breakouts by 95%. Can't really skip a day. Not a miracle cure, but the best I've found on the market. One package usually lasts 2 months, with Step 3 (the small bottle) greatly outlasting Steps 1 and 2.

I tried Acne free last night. I have mild acne breakouts and wanted to try it. I normally have dry skin so after using the kit I put a good moisturizer over it. I missed the part about not using it near your eyes - and Oh my LORD! It looks like someone punched me right in the eyes - they are swollen up - BAD. Also I have a huge red blotch that looks like someone set an iron on my throat. My face seems ok though. As crazy as it is I might keep trying it on my face just to see - but I'm steering clear of my neck and eyes!

This stuff worked GREAT for me! I am in my late 30's, and still have breakouts - several months ago I had a big one on my chin. I tried many different things but this one worked amazingly well - and I haven't had a breakout since! I think it comes down to whether benzoyl peroxide works for you, or salic acid... products with salic acid didn't work and almost made things worse. The negative reviewers here might be sensitive to benzoyl peroxide, and salic acid works better. Just my unscientific observation... for me, this stuff rocks and the price is reasonable!
