I met with a Podiatrist and he told me to try this cream. After about 3 months, the fungus was complete gone! he had told me that it could take a year if not more to remove a fungus, but to my surprise, this worked very quickly. The good thing was that I always get pedicures and my toes are always polished. I was able to apply this over the polish and it still worked. My toe nail is now pink and clean, just the way it should be. The nail is also thin (not thick). My toe nail now looks perfect and ready for photos! AWESOME product! Comments about Tineacide Antifungal Cream, with Bonus Nail Clippers, 1.25 oz: The bulk of the reviews seem positive which is why I purchased this product but what the description on the site doesn't mention but is plainly printed on the box is that the product is NOT for treatment of nail fungus infections. I'll continue to use and hope for the best but until and unless I see a difference, I won't use this again for nail infections. I use Tineacide during the check as a preventative measure for foot problems. It must work; because , I haven't had a problem in 8 years. My doctor's recommendation was to have the nail removed. After doing some research online, I decided to try this product. After a few months, my nail was better and after 2 years, most people wouldn't know there was anything wrong with the nail. I still have to use the product every day, but I'm so happy to be able to wear sandals and flip flops! This isn't a cure and it requires long-term use, but it does what it is advertised to do! I have tried a very strong and lengthy prescription treatment (not to mention expensive) to no avail on my ugly toenail condition. This inexpensive product is already clearing the problem with just two weeks of using only sporadically! It almost seems too good to be true! Cons Best Uses Comments about Tineacide Antifungal Cream, with Bonus Nail Clippers, 1.25 oz: 3 years ago I got a pedicure and a few months later when I took off the nail polish, i was horrified to find what I thought was nail damage underneath. It took a few more years of watching the big toenails on both of my feet continue to look "damaged" (white cracks in the nail) to think that I might have possibly contracted a fungus! This past September I read reviews and picked Tineacide to try, knowing I would use it for several months before I would be able to see results. Well now that almost 4 months have passed I am ready to write my review- IF YOU HAVE NAIL FUNGUS GO BUY THIS PRODUCT right now! I have been applying it every morning (I squeeze a little bit onto each nail and use qtips to spread it around, then cover it with a sock for the day) and I am proud to announce that over time it has killed the fungus and allowed for new and healthy nails to grow in. I will probably continue using the Tineacide (I've only begun using my 2nd tube in 4 months) for a few months just to make sure its all gone but I am beyond pleased with this product and it was not hard to get in the habit of applying it daily. I haven't experienced any side effects at all from using this product and highly recommend it! Also, Ladies, ditch the nail polish at least for awhile. Apparently the nail polish "traps" the fungus on our nails so now if I paint toenails or fingernails I only leave it on for about a week at a time and then take a break from it. I have read that this product needs several weeks to show signs of improvement. Hopefully I will see these signs before the bottle is used up.
