This was not what I had expected - it is just brown paper w an adhesive backing. It hurt to have them on, I didn't last 1 hour! And taking them off was worse - it said to wet them w water to take off but it still hurt. My face stung for a while after. Very disappointed, will return.

Put this on every time I go to sleep, keep it on even during the day if I don't go out. It has decreased my forhead frown lines by about 80%. I love these. Can use them more than once.

Have been using Frownies overnight (corners of eyes and mouth) for a few years now and they work at fixing and preventing fine lines and wrinkles around the corners of my mouth. For the upper and lower areas of my lips I use Frownies lip lifts, alternating between each type on occasion. It works, that's why they've been around since the late 1800's. Watched an episode of an old Alfred Hitchcock the other night and one of the main characters had used Frownies on her forehead in a scene just before retiring for the night. Classic. A little bit of effort and it's a great natural way to combat and prevent wrinkles.

I thought they were a hassle to use. Besides I don't want to have my husband see paper plastered all over my face and I do not have 3 hours of private time a day.

I have used Frownies on the corners of my mouth for years. I think they prevent the folds on the side of my mouth from becoming deeper. However, I think the quality of the product is not as great as it has been in the past, i.e., they seem to be smaller and the paper is not as strong.

I've used Frownies now for 4 years and they work for me. I had read about them in a magazine and so I started using them after I noticed a deep wrinkle had formed between my eyes almost overnight, due to stress.

Yes, there is a little discomfort with the use of the Frownie pad. But the way I think about it is, it's either that or Botox injections, and I hate needles. As mentioned by another poster, I stretch the skin first with my index and middle fingers then apply the Frownie between my eyes with the other finger. I don't use it every night, but when I do, I notice I look better in the morning. It is not permanent by any means. The result is that I am constantly told I look like I'm in my early 30's and I'm in my late 40's.

It took some time for me to understand how in the world this product could work until I did immense research regarding the science behind it. It takes 333,000 facial movements to create a wrinkle in the skin. When botox is administered it paralyzes the muscle that is causing that wrinkle so the skin can retraine itself making the wrinkle in that area disappear. Frownies basically do the same thing. The patch paralyzes the wrinkled area overnight or when worn no less than 3 hours simply retraining the skin! I have developed some wrinkles around my mouth being now 41 years old and have been wearing the patches for 5 days every night. The wrinkles are GONE. My skin is more relaxed and I feel as if I look younger. Don't be turned off about how to get these off....just pat with warm water over and over and then as you start to peel, follow the glue stuck to your skin under the patch inch by ince with warm water as you peel the patch off and the glue will release. These things WORK.. but, like all natural skin are, it takes patience and diligence. Wear them for 30 days like the directions say.
