Although it was just a minor problem, Boroleum has actually improved the quality of my life. The inside of my nose used to get dry and sore frequently, sometimes, enough to keep me up at night. I put some Boroleum in at night and it doesn't happen anymore. My nose also heals faster when it does get sore. I also use it before travelling on a plane, which can dry out the nose, and before I swim, when water can rush up the nose. It protects against some of the discomforts in both cases. I also think, although I don't have the means to really know for sure, that it helps to protect against airborne illnesses. Perhaps by having a better protected nose, I am not as susceptible. I say this because I have had very few colds in the last 3 or 4 years, since I started using it. One never knows whether that was the cause, but logically it makes sense to me, at least. The only downside is the taste, on the -relatively rare - occasions that it seeps into the back of my throat. I very highly recommend it.

Was introduced to Boroleum about 30 years ago, and use it every night through the winter as a "moisturizer" for the inside of my nose as the dry air causes my nose to get really dry and often bleed in the winter. Same goes for whenever I am flying. I also use it when I have a cold to heal sores around the nose after constantly blowing it. It works wonders in all three scenarios!

I live in a hot and dry area and have problems with dryness inside my nose. I have been trying to find a product that will help heal the soreness. I tried Boroleum ointment and it worked wonders. I used it every night to start with and now I only have to use it occassionally. It is soothing and cooling to my nose and relieves all the dryness. I have recommended this product to several members of my family and would highly recommend it to anyone who has this problem. I just wished I had found it years ago.

Boroleum is great especially after a cold when your nose needs a little extra moisture and TLC. It not only heals but moisturizes. Not as greasy as Vasaline.

You know how you get thoses awful sores under your nose when you have a bad cold.....not anymore. I use it every night. It is amazing!

This is a great product. I use an steriod inhaler that helps my allergies, but causes drying out and sometimes bleeding. The Boroleum keeps the tissues inside my nose moist, the mild menthol helps my allergies, and it's very easy to use. It's much milder than Vapo-Rub and Mentholatum and it doesn't blow the top of your head off like those products do. I've used Boroleum for over thirty years and I wouldn't be without it.

My sinuses get very dry in these Cleveland winters. This product really helps alot!
