This product is so great for dry skin. It is greasy so be careful what you are wearing when you put it on but it doesn't come off easily and will take care of any rough skin.

Hey, if its good enough for farmers to use on cow udders in the deep of winter...you can only imagine what it does for your dry hands or feet. Great to have in the cabinet, lasts for years! Beware of it getting too warm (IE: shipping in hot summer months), tends to liquify into a greasy mess.

This is the very best moisturizer for winter chapped cracked fingers, heels, and elbows. Not the most glamorous stuff in the world but it works. My fingers will split in the winter and I searched for years for something that healed and protected my hands. This is the only non-prescription treatment that works. It does have a somewhat medicinal scent but I don't find it unpleasant and it's worth it.

This stuff smells so awful. I used it on my feet before bedtime, but I had to wash it off my hands to keep from smelling it. It worked ok, but no magic.

This product has been used by family members for those pesky age related keritoses and spots with wonderful results. I read about bag balm on an ultra-running website. I was plagued by chaffing issues during long runs in hot humid weather. I tried everything - body glide, surical tape, band-aids - to name a few. Because bag balm has lanolin (same as body glide) it doesn't sweat off and continues to provide protection. Only problem is the container - I had to invent my own to take it on long runs. Put it on before heading out on a long run and keep a small amount with you for emergencies. Nothing is better.

Becuase of medication I take, my feet get very dry and can blister. I apply this product before putting on socks and shoes to keep my feet moist and it works very well. Bag Balm can discolor white socks when applying, but the benefits outweigh discoloration.

Massage thoroughly and allow ointment to remain for full softening effect.

Special Directions:

Bag Balm contains lanolin and stays on to provide moisturizing and softening. For pets, apply Bag Balm liberally to the affected area. For use on cows, thoroughly wash treated teats and udder with separate towels before each milking. To avoid contamination after each milking, bathe the udder with plenty of hot water, strip milk out and dry skin. Apply Bag Balm freely and massage gently with this proven ointment twice daily. This product contains no alcohol.

For chapped conditions and superficial abrasions. After each milking, apply thoroughly and allow coating to remain on surface. This protective ointment helps to keep superficial tissue moist and soft.
