I have extremely sensitive and dry skin, and wear waterproof mascara too. These take off all makeup, and I barely even have to rub at all. They smell like the ocean and leave my face feeling clean and moisturized. I would say if you have oilier skin to maybe use your regular cleanser afterwards, but if you are dry like me you might be okay with just these. They are a little expensive, but worth it. Hope Neutrogena keeps this one around. | |||||||||||||||
| Greasy & irritated my eyes... by Janet in San Jose, CA on 6/28/08This was a consumer's top pick in Allure magazine, so I wanted to try it after I ran out of Pond's Clean Sweep towelettes. It definitely removes makeup very easily, even stubborn waterproof eye makeup. BUT, it stung my eyes & has a greasy feel. I was so disappointed. My husband ended up using it to clean his dirty rc cars, lol. Oh well, you live & learn. I'm going back to Pond's Clean Sweep. | |||||||||||||||

I have to for this! I bought the olay face "wipes" as I call them, becuase I have two babies and fall asleep w/ my make-up on too often. I was happy w/ the olay wipes. Tried these when out of olay wipes. OMG! These are great. So soft and silky and gentle and remove make-up, even eye make-up. they don't sting eyes. leave skin soft and moist, not dry. These are really really great and this is a good price for such a great product. I'm 38 with sensitive irish skin. These are great for me! I think I'll always use these at least before bed......I don't always feel like my full routine, too tired now! ha ha!!! Good luch and try these. I don't think you'll be sorry, even if you onlky use for vaca and when to tired to do the full beauty routine! | |||||||||||||||

Of course I follow up with cleansing my face with a cleanser; I simply use this to remove the makeup and it does a great job. They are soft, almost cloth-like, they don't sting my eyes, minimal fragrance, and they take EVERYTHING off. I have turned on so many people to these things. I wear a fair amount of makeup (foundation, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara), and I find that these towelettes do a good job removing everything. However, I have oily, breakout-prone skin, and I can't use these as a total replacement for cleanser. I tried using just these every night before going to bed, and I started breaking out because they didn't get my skin quite clean enough. I still need to follow up with a regular cleanser to really get my pores clean. However, I do carry these in my gym bag so I can remove my makeup before I work out...it's so much easier than having to wash my face at the sink in the locker room. They work great for that purpose. | |||||||||||||||
 I usually like Neutrogena ...by Amber in Undisclosed on 4/26/07I usually like Neutrogena products, however, this one failed my expectations. I gave it 2 stars because it effectively removes makeup. However, these things BURNED my face, irritated my eye area, and left a greasy feeling after. I'll stick with my Pond's Clean Sweep Cleansing Cloths. | |||||||||||||||
