Apparently, the two people who reviewed this product previously don't really know what colloidal minerals are- or at least where they come from. They're normally derived from mineral rich clay, so yes, it does have a slightly clay like taste, but I didn't find it bad. This is the first colloidal product I've found that isn't loaded with sugar and dye, which is a plus in my book. I don't know whether colloidal minerals have all the health benefits people claim, but I know when I take them I feel like I have more energy - and that's a first for any health supplement I've tried.

I bought this because I had read some articles on how great colloidal minerals were. This stuff actually made me nauseous because of the taste. I took this in combination with some other vitamins and had to hold back my gagging every time I took it. It smells like clay from art class, and it is crystal clear. I felt like I was just drinking clear "dirt water" because that is what it tasted like, and I am embarrassed that I spent money on muddy water that had been run through a sieve.
