I had a plantar wart from not wearing flip flops in the gym shower (I know I know gross). I tried the acid stick kind of remover, and that made them spread. So painful. I used this stuff for a little over a week (I used it more than the directions said because I wanted to be able to walk again) and it zapped the warts away.

I have used other wart-freezing systems before (Dr Scholls?) to great effect. Although that freezing-system did take two applications, spaced several weeks apart..

This one -- Wartner -- didn't work at all on my small warts. It did get very cold -- below 0 F -- but it froze a red ring AROUND the wart. The wart itself didn't seem to notice. It did sting though, which you can't avoid with a freezing-system: It's the nature of the freezing process.

The problem with this product, is that uses a FLAT surfaced foam applicator, that results in freezing more of the area around the wart, than the wart itself. The other system uses a more pointed applicator, which is essential on smaller warts.

So I tried cutting the round tip into a "pointy" surface, which seems to have worked better. I can't say for sure yet, because I only just tried out my "new improved" applicator.

If there is a "plus", it might be that this seems designed more for flat, plantar warts. Because apparently, if you freeze the foam for far longer -- 20 seconds -- instead of the directed 3 seconds, it can work on those large, deep warts. For run-of-the-mill small warts, either try reshaping the applicator tip, or try a different product.

I hate worts! I get one every five years or so on my hands somewhere. Liquid wart removal products have never worked for me. In my college days I have used blunted carpenters nails heated to incandescence with great success. A doctor used an electric scalpel which worked, but took a long time to heal. I have used Dry-ice and liquid nitrogen with success too. The "Wartner" product worked great. It is very self limiting on the depth of the freeze so it is VERY hard to mess up. I am experienced with cryogenic methods so I felt comfortable doubling or tripling the recommended application times. The site healed quicker than any other method that I have used in the past. There is more product in the can than you need so it is good for multiple uses. Best price too. Great product!

sorry to admit, but I threw [$] down the drain on this one... at least as far as planters wart removal on bottom of foot... I can't speak for hand wart removal where the skin may be thinner and more senitive, but this was not strong enough for the rougher/thicker bottom of foot treatment.

We tried all the topical meds for my 7 year old daughter's wart and it kept coming back. So, decided to try this one and it seems to have worked a few weeks later but more time will tell. It really was quite painful after we sprayed and for awhile afterwards. It is possible I sprayed too long but that is a learning process with this method.

Wartner Cryogenic Wart Removal worked fairly well on three stubborn warts but I did have to take some liberties with the directions in order to see maximum results i.e. increased the application time and frequency between treatments to weekly. This is not an endorsement to ignore the safety precautions. I made that decision only after following the instructions with limited success with my skin type. Also, because the applicator tips were larger than the treatment area, I found it beneficial to protect the surrounding skin by snipping a hole slightly larger than the wart in first aid tape/band aid before each application.

We tried this on 2 different warts. The one that was level with my skin-I think is a plantar, it hasnt worked so far but ill keep trying. We tried it on a wart that stuck up above the skin and it worked so well! I tried one wart with the directions on the box then the other wart I tried my own way, I held it down longer, put it on my war tlonger, and waited a week instead of two to do it again. The thing blistered and looked so gross but it went away. It stings a little but its not that bad, I wouldnt reccomend it for little kids
