I've been getting cold sores on my face for over 20 years. They're huge, unsightly and always on plain view for the world to see. I'm on a suppressive dose of Acyclovir, which didn't work this time around. I woke up (as usual) with some tingly/itchiness and discovered a bump. Immediately took my super dose of meds and used abreva. Went about my morning and the blisters blew up in their huge way, and many of them. On my chin. So, I went to go fill my prescription for a new dose and discovered Releev. THANK YOU RELEEV!! Typical course of cold sore with abreva? A good 10 days, with hiding at home and scab drying and splitting and bleeding. This course with Releev? 5-6 days. I feel that if I had had Releev on the on-set of the blisters, it would've made all the difference. But, even using it after they blew-up, it still cut the time in half, without the cracking and bleeding. Good-bye Abreva, hello Releev!! I would highly recommend having it on hand. Pricey, but effective.

I love this product. I heard about it through a friend that also gets the virus now and then. I've tried other products and had to suffer through the uncomfortable 10 day long duration for it to clear up. At first site of blisters, because I never get the "tingle" people talk about, I put 1 drop on about 3 or 4 times the first day. Within a day or two it had dried it up. When I used other products there was terrible cracking and bleeding. This product does not do that. I could still eat and drink without being in pain. My virus cleared up in 2 and a half days! Remarkable! Thank you for creating this product!

Ok, I'm always a serious skeptic about products that seem to have mostly positive reviews, but this stuff does actually work better than anything else I've tried for cold sores. I had an outbreak that after several days (and trying every other product/supplement/herb) did not seem to be clearing up. After using Releev 4 or 5 times a day for two days it was completely cleared. I will now keep this in the cabinet for any future outbreaks.

This stuff is the real deal. It will stop the cold shore from blistering out and being painful. Get it on first sign of "tingle". It will soak into the lip and creates a barrier that the cold sore(virus) can not penetrate(also keeps it almost unnoticable)
It cuts the duration down, a miracle. I carry it with me all the time, I apply a drop on three times a day for three days, you feel the lip get a bit tougher as the cold sore cant "break through"

really awesome product! i recommend this over orajel single dose and abreva. Works great! use it often and at the first signs and you can avoid a lot of embarrassment!

Let's be realistic... Anyone who has ever had a cold sore, knows it isn't going to be completely cleared up in 1 day. HOWEVER, this product drastically shortens the timeframe of the actual flare up. Without treatment, those little water blisters can sometimes go on for days... This product will stop them in 1 day... And then your skin is left dry, but flat, so you can hide with make-up. Keep rubbing this stuff on it, and it will continue to dry it up and the scab will flake off faster.

The medicine is kind of like a gel, so just put on with you finger... Directions say not to use cotton swab, and that scared me at first, but you don't need it. I'm on day 3 and no longer noticeable... Plenty of med still in bottle... 1day doesn't mean you only get enough medicine for one day.

I want to point out that at first tingle, I rub the Oragel Single Dose into the area... It's truly a single dose... Can't save anything for later. Between the two products, I'm super happy. Good luck!

I couldn't believe how well this product works. I have had really bad cold sores about 2 to 3 times a year for most of my life. They would usually take a week to resolve cosmetically. I've tried over the counter and prescription oral and topical meds. Releev is the most effective product I've ever used. The healing that would normally occur in 3 days took about 24 hours. Amazing. I never write reviews. But this product is worth supporting!

This, in combination with about 4 other things, does help to reduce the duration of the dreaded cold sore. To call it a one-day treatment is a stretch, unless they mean you use it for one day and it's superfluous after that? I use it along with cold packs, L-Lysine, and two things I buy in France, Compeed cold sore patches (like little mini bandaids, reduce spreading plus keeps it from drying out) and Urogel treatment, similar effect to Compeed but like a liquid bandaid. I wish they had the last two in the US. But Releev is also quite helpful, much more than the creams and Valtrex, and I always keep it on hand.
