I use this product mostly in the kitchen for dishes - but I have used it to clean the bird baths & bird feeders too. The smell is fantastic (its verbina - so its more herbal lemon - NOT lemon). And its not super foamy so it rinses clean. I LOVE the smells of the products - lavender and many others are wonderful too. All of the products are natual and safe for the environment (important to me) but they also clean well and are easy to use! No worries here for kids, pets, ground water etc. I've been using Mrs Meyers products for about 6 or 7 years now. Ive tried others - but always come back to these. Well worth the money on all of this company's products!

This does not smell anything like lemon. It is very medicinal and my husband says it reminds him of something from his childhood having to do with a barber shop- in a bad way. It is so strong that it is sickening. My husband won't go near me or the kitchen when use it. It stays on my hands and it makes me feel literally sick as I continue to smell it on myself and my sponge. I will use it up on my dirty pots and pans, and never buy it again. As far as I can tell it works no better than my nice smelling blue dawn for much less cost. Don't buy!

Being diagnosed as allergic to ALL the chemicals comprising customary and usual commercial cleaning products (DMDM Hydantoin, paraben, artificial chemical fragrance, etc.) - I searched high and low for a product that was "organic, natural" - experimented with a couple of other brands/products, but found this particular one to be the absolute best vis-a-vis cleaning capabilities and non-toxicity chemical reactions to a person's hands. I have no need for wearing rubber gloves when washing dishes/pots and pans using this great product.

I have been using this product for years now, it's non abrasive, effective, contains no harmful chemicals, and has a wonderful yet not overpowering scent. Highly recommend this for washing dishes (manually). I don't even require rubber gloves when using this product.

My husband purchased Mrs. Meyer's dish soap in Bluebell scent and I thought that was strong smelling, but I got used to it. I can't find that scent anymore, so I tried Lemon Verbena. I tried it for a week, hoping that the scent would fade, but it did not. I can smell it when I come into the house. As I am washing dishes, I can taste it! I finally pumped it all out of my built in soap dispenser and switched back to Seventh Generation (which is not as robust and requires more soap to do the same job).

I was looking for a more natural dishwashing liquid and decided to give this a try. I will never use anything else again. I find it to be very effective for cleaning the dishes. It cuts through the grease much better that I expected. The smell is AMAZING! For me it's like aromatherapy :) I am completely addicted to this product and I really don't see myself using anything else again. So far I have tried two scents , Lemon Verbena and Geranium and they are both fantastic.

You know how sometimes you get these natural products and they barely have suds or just don't clean? Well, this suds great and cleans just like any of the top brands.

I use the product when I wash dishes, including heavily soiled pots and pans and tea mugs, knives and wooden spoons. I prefer NOT to use anti-bacterial soaps so that the germs in my house do not evolve into antibiotic resistant superbugs, so I'm happy that this is not an antibacterial soap. I firmly believe in the power of hot water and soap to keep things clean. I adore the smell of lemon and verbena, so I feel happy while I am washing my dishes.

For a natural product, this one delivers. I have used some natural dish soaps and they do not foam but this one does and it works. This is the only dish soap I use.

I previously bought the dishwashing soap in lavender only because I use the cleaner and how it smells. That said, I prefer the Lemon Verbena because it is more fragrant than the lavender (and more suitable for dishes), suds up more and clean better (spotless glasses, etc.).
