I love the smell of lavender. It is sensual, relaxing, and focusing -- it works wonders. I wanted a candle to fill my room with that wonderful smell... The smell of lavender. Having the most purchases and the highest ratings -- I bought this Meyer's Lavender candle and it smells absolutely HORRIBLE. Everything else about this candle is stellar. It's the longest burning candle I've had -- It doesn't smoke or flicker. It smells NOTHING like lavender. There is not a drop of essential oil in it... and I find the candle keeps me awake and focused because my nose is TRYING to find that recognizable scent. It's definitely made for a larger room. It is a potent smell and it is almost effervescent... it has a flowery scent, but there is also this citrus or lemon or bubbly scent that is SO overpowering. I don't know. Some people would like this candle, but this was not what I wanted. I like using Dr. Bronner's soap. Find a bottle of the lavender scent and open it up and take a deep inhale. That's lavender.

I love these candles because the scents are refreashing and "clean" smelling without being overwhelming. My problem with other brands of candles is that the scent is too strong for my sensitive nose. These Mrs. Meyer's candles are a perfect balance in my opinion. I only wish that drugstore.com also stocked the Basil scent, which is my favorite.

Mrs. Meyer's soy candles are absolutely awesome & they have the best fragrance as well as all her other wholesome products. I use them all the time.
They're very reasonably priced on drugstore.com when they're on sale. Otherwise, they can be a little expensive for the average person.

This candle is great for around the home. It has a fresh, clean scent and lasts for quite some time. It's great to light while you're cleaning the house, or looking to add a fresh scent.

Really wonderful smelling candle for a great price. The only thing I have to say is that it looks a bit clunky so not a "pretty" display candle but other than that, no complaints. I will buy this again.

i love love love lavender; which means i am not so crazy about this candle. it does seem long-burning, the jar is cool and free of excessive branding, and successfully emits a smell, it just doesn't smell much like lavender. it's more like a weird cinnamony strange sense - not awful or 'bad', but not 'lavender' either.

I enjoyed the way this candle burned...even and slow. For that, it was worth a little more $ but not quite what I paid for it. Scent was not typical lavender but enjoyable and pleasant. Would buy again but only if on sale.
