I have a bit of combination skin, but I've noticed that my skin has gotten drier the past couple of years. I've had trouble finding a cleanser that would clean well without causing my skin to flake in places. This seems to be striking a good balance for me. Bonus for smelling good at the same time.

Typically, I use this in the morning because it's very moisturizing and gentle on the skin! It smells great, feels very fresh on the skin, and doesn't leave any residue on your skin after you rinse it off!!! Overall, I have no complaints about this cleanser

I use this 1/2 & 1/2 with the pineapple cleanser. Together they are perfect for my skin. Cleansing, softening & just enough lather to leave it clean but not stripped. I follow with the toner and a little bit of moisturizer. The combo of these products has saved my skin.

Love Alba products. Gentle, smell yummy and work well. This face wash I've been using for years. Very gentle, doesn't dry out skin, smells like Hawaii! I use it morning and night and so does my husband!!

Love the creamy feel and natural scent of this product. Use it particularly in cold/dry seasons as it is more moisturizing than my typical gel formulation.

I've recently started using Alba products. I am mid 30's and have had problem skin since I hit 30. My t zone is very oily, cheeks are dry and my chin is constantly breaking out in cystic acne. While I haven't noticed a difference in the acne (And I'm not sure there's anything out there that will make a difference) the over all quality of my skin is much better. It looks more healthy and feels smoother.

This product isn't a deep cleanser and it isn't going to really dig all the make up off your face. However, it does well if you're not a big make up wearer (Like me). it's extremely gentle. This is not a soap... you will NOT get bubbles when you get it wet. it tingles just slightly when you put it on. I usually let it sit for a minute while I'm in the shower then rinse it off. It has improved the texture of my skin. This is also probably a nice product for folks with dry skin as it leaves mine feeling clean and moisturized.

This is the first review of a product I have ever done. This face wash is a little bit of paradise after a long twelve hour night shift. I love the way it smells, the way it feels, the way my face feels afterwards. The cost is nominal, and I am getting a lot of use out of one bottle. I am hooked!

On the recommendatins here, I bought this, hoping it would replace the now eye stinging Dermalogica cleanser I was using. Thist is very gentle, but very hard to rinse off, and left me with a bumpy complexion. Maybe it is only for very very dry skin, or wintertime use. I would not buy this again.

Can find less expensive products but for the price this facial cleanser is a great bargain.

I tried this like a regular detergent cleanser the first time and didn't think I liked it. Since it has oils I decided to try it on my dry face first to let the oils dissolve my makeup and oil first and now I love it. If you think it's not working try it dry. I just rub it in and massage a little into the skin and then add water and rinse. It makes my skin soft and smooth and not tight like most cleansers I've tried. I have an oily t-zone prone to clogged pores but also sensitive skin and this stuff is great at dissolving oil without drying.
