This was my first organic/all natural moisturizer. I have combination skin that is very prone to break outs. I like to use something that is oil free/mattifying during the day and something heavier at night.
This moisturizer is so much better for someone who is slightly more on the drier side. I causes my foundation to oxidize because it makes me oily throughout the day. I have very dry U zone sometimes, and this really calms the dry patches. It also gives a bit of cooling sensation when you first put it on..
didn't cause any breakouts either..
not recommended for oily skin, but I think it will be a decent moisturizer that is free of chemicals for people who are normal to dry skin

My skin is sensitive w/some rosacea, and can get a tad oily in the summer. I've tried several "oil-free" moisturizer, but they either irritated my skin, or gave this ugly mat look with zero moisture. I've used other products from Alba & decided to try this. Love it! Gives just enough moisture w/out making my face a grease pit. Feels soothing, non-irritating. Gives a nice glow to skin. No sun-screen in it, but I don't care. Sun screens can irritate. My make-up has sunscreen in it & that's enough. Everything doesn't have to have sun screen in it that you put on your face. It's overkill.

Perfect for me! I have combination skin so I'm really happy at how light this formula is. I use it morning and night. Works great under makeup, too.

I have very sensitive skin, dry cheeks and an oily t-zone. I am a lotion junkie and my face doesn't like anything better than this! I use it every morning after I wash my face in the shower. It sooths the redness and dryness and feels amazing! It's light weight and absorbs quickly. A little pricey but it does last a long time! I'm hooked!

Use this fine product everyday. Not oily. Makes my face feel soft and smooth.

I use a moisturizer at night, and I love the Alba brand, but this cream just didn't absorb well into my skin. I'll be sticking with my Clinique Dramatically Different from now on.

This is my 2nd review. I owed it to Alba because I originally only gave 4 stars. When my jar ran out of Alba moisturizer though, my face and skin really missed it. I had to buy more. It is a bit pricey... however, if you are interested... it's sold in a package of 2 at [@] for [$]. Not bad.

I love other Alba products so I thought I'd give this facial moisturizer a try. It's great! It has a pleasant scent, goes on smoothly, and absorbs quickly, leaving me with soft skin.

I usually buy all of my stuff from [@] and Drugstore.com. I ran out of my favorite moisturizer (Beauty Without Cruelty (BWC) moisturizer) and was in a fix. Couldn't wait for the mail to come. I went to the store and found that this was the only moisturizer that was cruelty free to animals (which is my #1 concern) next to how it works. It was a little pricey [$], and if you are not used to scented moisturizers... a little smelly. Some people really like that part. I don't necessarily like to add layers and layers of scent. I read a few reviews about it not soaking into the skin. Perhaps I have dry skin or its the fact that I put it on right out of the shower. I don't know, but I don't have that problem. It feels silky smooth and luxurious and it doesn't take very much. If I have a little too much, I just rub it down my neck. Skin feels great, not greasy.
