I do agree the scent of this product isn't great but otherwise it is the best self-tanner I've ever used by far. I am extremely pale and have tried every self-tanning product out there. This is the only one that goes on evenly, comes out a believable shade and doesn't streak. This is the first summer I've been able to wear shorts and skirts and people think I've actually got a nice, natural tan - I get compliments every time I use it.

I have to agree with other users who said it goes on very wet and takes a long time to dry. That said, I still think it gives a very even tan, and I do not have any issues with the odor. (I've found that tanning products work and smell differently on different people, so you'll never know till you try one exactly how it is going to work for you.) For me, the big plus with this tanner is the SPF15 sunblock. Because of the sunscreen, I like to use this stuff when I'm going to be out in the sun, at the beach or pool. I can still tan while being completely protected from the sun; it's the best of both worlds. The rest of the time, I rely on the L'oreal quick-dry tanner, which does a great job for me.

I try lots of self tanners and this one now sits in the back of my drawer, mainly because of the horrible and very strong combination of smells I give off when I use it. You start off with a cloying, heavy perfume-y smell and a few hours later that gives way to the actual smell of the self-tanner, which is wretched. Takes several showers to get it all off. yuck.

Attention all you fellow guys out there who secretly use these sunless products but are too embarrassed to tell anyone: PASS ON THIS ONE! I used this last Sunday night, paying extra attention to following all the proper instructions. The next morning my shins were brown-orange, my upper thighs were dark brown, my chest and upper arms looked OK, but my arms from the elbow down were blotchy. Yes, I did rub it in extremely well. Yes, I did exfoliate extremely well (but don't tell my buddies, ha ha). Maybe this product works for a smooth woman's body, but for any guy with some leg hair (I don't have very much) it looks awful and I now feel like an idiot for using this. FELLAS, DON'T BUY IT!

I am somewhat challenged when it comes to self-tanning whether the professional spray on or the lotion. Although a little streaky on my arms (you have to be careful when applying), my legs have never looked better and some people call this "greasy" but I call it moisturizing as heck!! My skin is smooth, supple, and a nice tan color. Surprisingly great on face too. I exfoliated in the shower beforehand and then applied and washed my hands. No orange palms here!

So I use self tanner all the time for the past well about 4 or 5 years. I love the LOreal sublime bronze tanning GEL, but thought I'd give this a whirl. An hour later I am sitting, well standing, here writing this review in front of the fan on high trying to dry. I feel like I'm dipped in butter. Now I'm running late trying to dry. Guess I have to hop in the shower!! Go for the gel, it leaves a shimmer and is dry in 5-10 minutes.

Amazing product if following instructions carefully! You have to exfoliate extremely well everyday for a week before applying this but it will last FOREVER on just 1 application and totally real! Works on face (got to apply twice if I want a base tan) and then I apply estee lauder bronze goddess in matte and its amazing

I have dry sensitive and extremely pale skin. Every other self tanner looks fake on me and dries me out except this one! Awesome product! If you have oily skin I recommend you check out the Sublime Bronze gel version.

I also found this product to be quite greasy and it went on patchy for me. I'm not nuts about this product.

This is say - this product could have been so great... Good color - check. Nice smell - check. Not streaky - check. Everything checks out...except - this stuff is soooooo greasy! When I was putting it on, it felt exactly like putting on baby oil. I have "normal" skin (so I don't need any extra moisture on it), so this was just awful. I made the mistake of putting it on at 10 pm. At 11:30 pm, I was still standing in front of an air conditioning vent and a fan blowing directly on me...but I still felt like a greasy, sticky mess. So, even though it had a nice color, nice smell, and wasn't streaky, I have to give it one star due to the grease factor. You can't win with this product: If you apply at night, you will have to stand in front of a fan for over an hour, and still be greasy in your sheets...If you apply in the morning, you can't dress for several hours...
