Pros: Creates Even Tan, Doesn't Clog Pores, Easy To Apply, Natural Tan, Odor fades quickly, Works Quickly
Cons: Bad Odor, Feels like dry oil spray, Glittershimmer
Describe Yourself: Value Oriented
Best Uses: Body, Daily Use, Face, Quick-Fix, Skin tone enhancer
Bottom Line: recommended
I have a brownish complexion but prefer a deeper brown skin tone. It didn't really make me look darker it just gave me a glow as that of a bronzing dry oil spray. I don't like the feel of it because it feels too oily and it takes long to dry I hate the shimmer & glitter especially the fact that there's so much of it. The smell is pretty strong at first but in about 60minutes or less it completely fades away, that's a plus because with other tanners you stay with it until you shower it of. I gave it 3stars because it enhances my skin tone nicely not sickly and it was a very easy streak free application. Even though it didn't make me darker I would buy again for the glowing effect. It probably works better on lighter complexions.

Cons: Fades Quickly, Greasy or Heavy, Uneven Fade, Uneven Tan, Unnatural Color
Describe Yourself: Quality Oriented
Bottom Line: not recommended
I applied this product as described on the tube. It was very dark and greasy . It went on it steaks and didn't absorb into the skin. I assumed that it would dry and I could apply more later. It turned out to look orange and uneven. It was embarrassing as I was attending a large family BBQ and really wanted to wear shorts. Anyway, this was not so bad until I went into the water and saw the lotion rinsing off in streaks. It was funny and embarrassing at the same time. My legs are now back to their normal white but the feet have orange streaks on the side. When I brought the tube out to contact manufacturer my nephew told me to throw it away.

I've tried more self-tanning products than I can count, and this is by far my favorite. Unlike some other readers, I MUCH prefer the quick-dry formula. My biggest complaint about other tanners is that I need to walk around naked for an hour (or more) waiting for it to dry. This stuff is dry in 5-10 minutes. It is true that the quick-dry makes it a little harder to apply, in that you need to do it fast and even to have it look right while you're wearing it. But in my case, I usually put it on right before bed time, and shower it off first thing in the morning, so I don't really care if it doesn't look even while it's on. As soon as it washes off, it gives a great looking natural tan that lasts for days.

Cons: Bad Odor

This has to be the best sunless tanner on the market, I'm on a budget, so I can't really afford expensive sunless tanners out there. This gave me a natural, even tan without looking orange or it looking fake. The smell is a bit off putting, but after 2 minutes you don't notice it. I'm blindingly pale, and after I used this I looked like I came back from the beach. Someone even stopped me today asking me if I use a tanning bed!

I've tried all of the expensive self-tanners and went back to L'Oreal Sublime Bronze. It didn't disappoint me. As someone else said on their comment, you just have to rub it in very quickly. I have gotten more compliments on my tan this year than ever before. Everyone wants to know if I have been out in the sun a lot.

I LOVE this product except for the excessive glitter. Better to apply at night then shower before going out in the morning. Gloves work very well, since it does dry very quickly - which I like. No standing around in front of a fan for hours like with other products. Careful application minimizes streaking. The color is wonderful, so much better than walking around with the very pale skin of a redhead! I recommend this to everyone. Nice smell as well. Very easy on the pocket compared to other brands. It really is a great product!!

I agree with other reviewers- I was in love with this stuff and would use it EVERY summer faithfully- loved the light shimmer- loved the color results UNTIL they changed the formula- now it is terrible- stays sticky too long- smells bad- it is now a mainly Propylene Glycol based product- which it was not before... WHY did LOreal change the formula???!!! Now, I must find a new tanner... won't use this again unless they change the formula back... sad.

This stuff USED to be great, but now its terrible. I used this all summer, every summer. I recommended it to my friends and anyone else that would ask. But since they changed the formula it is sticky and streaky and the color isn't right. It looks horrible. So now I have to begin another quest to find the perfect self tanner

I have never used tanning creams before but I figured its a much safer alternative to tanning beds or the sun so I randomly tried this brand and I am very pleased with the results. I apply with gloves after combining tanning cream with my regular body lotion. Surprisingly, it really does give a nice natural bronzed glow without that "orange" look and it does have a very nice shimmer to it. The minimal streaking that does occur disappears with re-application. I really like it!
