This is the best self tanner ever and believe me I have tried all!! Yes, it does dry quickly; however, you must work quickly in blending. I love that it dries fast. You do not have to wait forever for it to dry like other self tanners. You might have a few streaks, however, when you shower all of the streaks will disappear and you will have a great tan. REMEMBER just rub quickly!!

Although I didn't find the initial tint to be very strong, it didn't smell and the overall color was amazing! This is the first self tanning lotion I've found that didn't smell! I love it! It works so nicely, that I am actually going to use is all of the time... not just on special occasions. I did notice some streaking but the next day, I just re-applied and all of the streaks were smoothed out.

This product has been ruined since it was changed to a new quick drying formula. It used to be the best thing out there and the best value, now it is the worst by far. PLEASE go back to the old formula that takes longer to dry and do away with the quick dry, it doesn't tan me at all. I am so upset about it because I have the whitest skin on earth and I am unable to tan at all naturally. This is the only thing that worked well, looked natural and gave quick results. But since last fall its been changed. The new formula in new bottles now say deep natural tan rather than the old bottle which only said deep. I am so desperate to find something comparable.

If anyone from LOreal is reading this I BEG you to please go back to the "old" formula. It was THE BEST sunless tanner. Ive tried so many different brands and it was by far the # 1. The "new" formula dries too fast and streaky. I really miss the old formula

This was the first time I have tried this product (so I can't compare new vs. old formulas) but I was pleasantly surprised. I applied the product directly from the bottle after showering. There was an instant bronze color as promised, but I found that the product dried too quickly and was hard to spread evenly. The next morning (color did not come off on my sheets, which is a huge plus) I had a nice tan color with just a few areas of streaking. Overall, I was happy with the color. The second time I used the product I decided to mix it with some of my regular lotion. I did a ratio of about 60% lotion, 40% tanner. It was perfect! Much easier to spread evenly and NO streaks the next day. I have since been using daily with my lotion mixed in and I am very happy.

I'm really disappointed in the "new" sublime by L'Oreal. It leaves tacky streaks no matter how carefully I apply it. The original was perfect just the way it was. Please, please, please go back to the way it was or risk losing many faithful customers. -Jamie Yuma, Az.

I am so upset that they changed the orginal formula. The orginal formula was THE BEST self tanner out there.I tried a lot of self tanners, and nothing came close. It was perfect for somewhat pale people, like me, that would like to achieve a really dark self tan. It was very easy to apply, and imparted a gorgeous streak- free color. HOWEVER, this "new" faster drying formula DOES NOT compare to the old formula. The color is similar, but it is too sticky and easily streaks -unlike my beloved old formula. It doesn't give you much time to rub it in before it dries. I would rather wait for the old formula to dry than use this! I went through 4 bottles of the new formula and the results were the same.

This product has been ruined, ruined, ruined. What used to be my "holy grail" is no longer- L'oreal has changed the formula (notice the "NEW" on the bottle?) and it has been ruined. What used to give me a beautiful bronzy glow (even on my white pale skin) now leaves me with a sickly yellow-orange tan, more glitter than a disco ball, and patches of skin where the self-tanner has rubbed off and makes me look like I have some bizarre skin disease. Oh, L'oreal, how could you. My perfect product is no longer- I've moved on to better (albeit more expensive) self-tanners. :(

This has been a staple product in my arsenal for years. It lasts forever and with the tinted formula, you can't go wrong, no streaks! Tip: Let it dry thoroughly before you put your clothes on and watch the knees and elbows use sparingly on those areas! Also, don't use this on your face it's too dark for it.

Why oh why did you change it? I was so scared when I saw the word "new" on it I thought oh no what did they do to it! You see I'm very pale and I've spent big bucks just to get my skin looking a normal shade not the ultra-violet I was born with and when I heard about other pale people getting great results I tried it and not only did it work but I looked tan for the first time in my life! And everybody was asking me where did I go to get it done and when I told them that I did it myself they were shocked that something so inexpensive would have professional results. So please give the customer a choice: the quick drying kind for those impatient people and your old product that really works as long as you have the time. It's the best stuff available on the market. The new product is too runny and has way too much glitter. I can no longer use it on my face because of all the glitter and you feel silly at work with all of this beach glitter on you. Please consider marketing both formulas.
