I have used this self-tanner for over two years now. It's the best for getting my ultra-white skin deep brown. It works fast. The formula seals in moisture with silicones. The shimmer is awesome, and I wouldn't want the product so much without it. The only drawback is the instant bronzer. It looks great, don't get me wrong. But I use this product on a daily basis, so the instant bronzing color runs when I sweat at the gym, which is embarassing. Although I am brown underneath by the time I get off work and go to the gym, the bronzer runs and streaks and brown comes off on the towels I use while on the cardio equipment. But I still like the dark brown results better than any other self-tanner I've used (i.e. all of them).

I'm 20, and I know it's kinda early to be worried about wrinkles and aging, but I don't want to be old before my time. Some of my aunts used to be beautifully tan year-round when I was little, and now they look many years older than they are, so I don't want to go the UV route. I have tried many self-tanners. Neutrogena is too orange, Banana Boat is simply terrible, and the list goes on until I tried L'Oreal Sublime. It is the best I've had so far. It gives a natural, deep bronze color. It's tinted so you know exactly where it goes. It does have some downfalls though. I have to walk around in my underwear for at least an hour after I put it on so it will dry, the smell doesn't go away until two baths later, my white sheets are brown where I sleep, and it dries my skin out so bad because it has alcohol in it. So, if you can deal with all that, it gives a BEAUTIFUL color.

This is one the better products I have used. It's light, not as sticky as others I have used. The tint also has a nice shimmer. If you are having difficulty using the product, I recommend to use less and rub it in well, using small, overlapping, circles. I like the fact that its light and a little goes a long way. If you want to deepen the color, go with several light applications instead of one heavy one. Do not go to bed immediately after using this product, ALL sunless tanners need to be allowed to dry thoughly before coming into contact with beeding, clothing, etc... Use exfoliating and using other light moisturizures. Buy a cheap wash cloth and use that to dab and blend in areas like your elbows, heels, knees, and ankles. These areas can look really messed up, so I like to wipe most of it off in those areas and blend. You know how you put make-up on your face? Do the same with your sunless tanner. Another great one is the Ban De Soleil sunless tanner, but much more expensive.

A very good self-tanner. Am naturally very pale, this squeeze tube of tinted tanner absolutely did the trick. You see where you put it, so there will never be missed spots. EVER. Definitely has trademark odor of self-tanner, but because the color is so even and realistic, it makes up for the smell. Says not to use on face, but I do anyway, because of the tint factor. Used to use the sublime lotion, but the color was kind of orange, so I switched to this gel and am sold.

If *this* is the best self-tanner on the market, then I quit! I followed the directions to the letter. It was sparkly when I put it on, and it smelled nice. That was not to last. When I woke up the next morning I STANK! Not only that, but my whole room stank as well. I didn't want to bathe right there and then because I was afraid I would wash the tan off. As far as getting over the smell, I don't think so. The only "compliments" I got were "Fake tan!" and "Stinky!"

There is no such thing as a PERFECT tan unless you were born with that color skin. However, this product is the best I've found after years of sampling different self tanners. Those who said it streaked, most likely didn't apply it correctly. The ART of self tanning takes some learning. If you want this to produce a quick, natural looking tan without streaking and darker patchy areas do the following: Put baby oil on your body, then take a shower, exfoliate the body and face while in the shower. Pat dry and moisturize body with moisturizing lotion. THEN...once that lotion dries, apply the self tanner smoothly over all body parts. Use lightly on drier body parts (elbows, knees) and pat those areas with a towel. This all sounds hard...but it's easy and you'll love the results! When it starts to give an uneven look (fading) simply moisturize and apply more. GOOD LUCK! Way to go L'Oreal...better than any of those expensive department store tanners.

Pros: sunless color is good (almost natural, not too orange) and odor is mild. Cons: the temporary "bronzer" has glitter in it (so, if you're a guy, you probably wouldn't wear it outside until you shower,) and the lotion dries a little slower than some of the "foam" products out there. I may buy it again, but I want to try some other brands first.

Since I have stopped tanning in beds, I have been trying to find the best sunless tanner in a bottle. This is the best one I have used so far. It is better than Jergens, Neutragena, or Bain de Soleil. It doesn't have that fake tan smell like the others (it is a soft, slightly fruity scent) and it dries to a golden glow. I used it 3 days in a row to get a nice deep tan and reapply only twice a week to keep it. I have gotten so many compliments on my new tan.

I really have tried EVERY product for 'sunless tanning'. This is the only one I will stick with. It doesn't streak, it does dry fast and most of all....it doesn't come off on my clothes!!! The color is great and I'm constantly getting compliments on my tan.

I have self-tanned for many years and used (and threw away) many self-tanners. This is by far the best I have found. It is never streaky, goes on evenly, and gives me a nice, all over glow. And I love the shimmer it gives me when I get out in the sun! Yes, there is a smell to it, but you will get that with any self-tanner. That is the chemical reaction that tells you that it is working! So you need to get over it or give up on self-tanning! Listen, if you have problems with THIS product, you either haven't found the right self-tanner for you or you just don't know what you are doing when it comes to self-tanning!
