This is pretty easy to use, and you really only have to apply it 2 or 3 days in a row to build a really good tan. However, it really does take longer than other self tanners to dry. It's very humid where I live, so if you apply it, get dressed, and head out without devoting about an hour for it to get completely dry, you'll turn into a pretty sweaty, streaky mess. Best to use this one when you're gonna put it on and hang out naked for a while!

I've used L'Oreal's Sublime bronze for about 3 months and to be honest it always left me with an oily residue on my skin. After 1 hour of walking around the house naked, then holding a blow-dryer up to myself, it still left me feeling oily and unclean. It also makes a mess on your clothes, more so than other self tanner's do. It also fades after 1 day. 1 application and the next day after showering, it's gone, So I don't understand what all these 5 star reviews are about. I'm going to stick with Coppertone's self tanning lotion. It rocks!

At first I really thought that this was great stuff. Seemed to tan well used on my legs only. I tan really easy in the sun. After 3 applications, I decided to get some real sun. Hubby came out told me my legs looked orange (which was upsetting), so to say the least -- until this fades out I guess it will be jeans.

This is a great product! It has a really nice color that's not orange or fake looking at all. However, it's obvious scent and slow drying keeps it from being a five star product. If you don't mind the few problems, then go for it!

It was not quick to dry and was VERY streaky the first time, but with practice I got better. I did, however, switch to the Bain de Soleil sunless tanner and it works more efficiently! It left no streaks and dried quickly.

L'Oreal goofed with this one...and l labeled it falsely. Sublime is NOT "quick dry". To boot, it is greasy and oily feeling FOREVER. Coppertone's oil free product in the brown tube is much better than L'Oreal's Sublime. However, I'm still searching for the lightest lotion with the most pleasant scent and most natural color.

The Sublime Bronze gelee is my favorite. It's a moisturizing gel that stays put and does not rub off on my clothes or sheets, which means I can apply this and within 10 minutes be dressed. I'm not very meticulous when it comes to applying the gel, so sometimes there is blotchiness, but you can use peroxide or a toner with aha or other mild acidic toners to wipe up the mistakes. (Once I forgot to blend the gel on my feet, but nail polish remover took the tanner right out.) Use a cosmetic sponge to apply to your face and neck area. This helps give it a very nice even coverage. And, if you have any freckles or acne scars, take a cotton swab dipped in a skin lightening gel. I like Murad Age and Dark Spot Lighting Gel- or Neutrogena Acne Fading Mask, which has a salicylic acid. Carefully dab at the spots, this will prevent them from getter any darker.

First tanner I've used in years...no orangey look and goes on smooth and precise. A little goes a long way though, watch your ankles and inner arms; it can get streaky if using a lot, so be limited.

This product looks great the first day. But the days after that, the color fades and leaves spots. It also takes FOREVER and a day to dry. And the scent is very powerful and stays with you until you rinse yourself so I recommend putting it on overnight and taking a shower the next morning.
