I must be spoiled. When I need to blow my nose, the 7th Generation tissues are not soft enough. Worried about causing redness, rough skin, if I have to use these numerous times per day--as in the late winter.

The tissues are clumped inside the box like in a roll. There is no folding that makes it easy to dispense one at a time. This is not just one box but all the boxes I've bought. The family ends up pulling out wads of tissues -- which is certainly not environmental. Figuring out how to dispense one at a time is not easy, and if you can't, you just about have to take them all out, refold them and put them back in. It's a shame such a good product for the environment is wasted by poor design.

Only buy if you want to feel like you're using sand paper on your nose. I am all for saving the environment and using recycled things...but I think I'll stick to paper towels and aluminum foil...these tissues are not soft at all.

I recently switched to all recycled paper products in my home, and I am very happy with these tissues. I never liked the coatings that other tissues have to make the paper "softer," so I like the natural feel of these tissues. The paper is pretty soft for not having any additives, and for being a recycled product. Even the box has a fairly neutral pattern that doesn't offend. They are definitely strong enough for blowing noses and wiping down my vanity.

I'm sorry to say that these are just awful. They are not at all soft. Save your money and blow your nose with news paper, it wouldn't be much different.

Seventh Generation is a superior brand if you want to go green & still have the best quality.
These tissues are strong & gentle enough to use daily, for face, alergy issues, or for cold/flu season. [I hate it too, but we have to be prepared with the best & softest tissues, right?]
I use this brand always. You can't beat them for natural quality.

I love that they are recycled, but they are way too rough to use during a cold. They have been relegated to my car for occastional use.
