When I go to my favorite spa, while awaiting my appointment, I always enjoy a couple cups of this amazing tea. When I commented on the unique flavor, they told me it is a concoction of Licorice, mint, and chamomile tea. I decided to brew my own at home but couldn't find any licorice tea locally. I ordered two boxes of this Yogi Licorice Tea, and it is fantastic. It is the very best when brewing 2 bags licorice to one mint, and one chamomile. TRY it! You will agree!!!

Yogi licorice tea is a true licorice and is a nice tea to sip after a meal. I enjoy a cup after lunch in my office. I love the sweet flavor that lingers on the tongue after sipping! It reminds me of when I was a child and discovered a bottle of dried licorice roots in my mothers kitchen cabinet and began chewing on them because I liked the flavor so much. I suggest using two bags at a time to get a really rich and yummy flavor. My only complaint is that you cant really re-use a tea bag. I'm used to drinking a lot of loose teas that can withstand multiple straingings before loosing flavor. With the Yogi brand, you get one good cup and then the contents are totally done. If you want a second cup you'll need a second tea bag.
I enjoy this tea! I think it has just the right amount of licorice flavor. It has a sweet after taste that keeps me from wanting to raid the pantry to satisfy my sweet tooth. I am trying to cut out empty calories and this helps me do that while tasting good at the same time.

If you tell someone what flavor this is they will turn it down...most saying they do not like licorice..So, I do not tell them what flavor it is and surprise them...just about everyone will love it and say "wow this is good, what is this?" I swear works every time.
For me this is a great afternoon and or evening tea, even better in the fall and winter...think of it like hot cider, warm and inviting and soothing, maybe not an every day tea but sure hits the spot when you do have it.
I was so excited for this tea - I love black licorice and was hoping for the best! I think I wasn't ready for the flavor of this tea, though. It has a strange sickly-sweet after taste that clings to the back of your throat. Almost like you just took some cough syrup or swallowed some shampoo.
I think it would be best to test this out in some sort of sampler or from a friend first before purchasing an entire package for yourself.
I had one, and then left it in the breakroom where it still sits today!

I don't know where else one can get a true licorice tea. It doesn't matter because I feel this one is perfect in blend of flavors and spiciness. It has rapidly become a favorite of mine. If you like a true licorice flavor you won't be disappointed.
