not great on pet stains

This smells great, but not great on pet stains. Still I would purchase again and use Kirby booster or oxi clean in my shampoo machine.

When I used this one too thick too our hoover macine. then I start to do less this soap, and it start better work, I think use less than direction is better. because after shampoo, still streaks and heavy wet feeling.

I bought a bottle of this stuff to use in my Bissell spot bot, because the Bissell cleaners give me asthma attacks. After learning that a little goes a long way, I'm happy with this product. The shampoo is very thick, though, and I dilute it in an old dishwashing soap bottle before adding it to my Spot Bot. If it is not diluted in advance, the shampoo will sink to the bottom of the water tank and just sit there. I've used it in my big Bissell steamer as well. It does not achieve the level of clean that the expensive chemical cleaners do, but it works almost as well, does not make me ill, and is safe for my cat and my children. I gave it four stars because it it a bit difficult to get used to diluting it in a way that works for you, and it requires more passes over really dirty carpet. However, I liked it enough to order it again. My kids dirty up the carpet all the time, and this product is very economical to use for both spot-treating and general deep cleaning.

Its to thick! you have to add so much water to thin it out that you might as not add any soap at all. May be green, but don't waste your money. WORTHLESS JUNK ! ! !

Talk about the best value for your money. This is so highly concentrated that it lasts a very long time. I mix it up a gallon at a time and then follow the directions on the steam cleaner machine, using it just like the chemical laden stuff. This way, when the spill happens, I am ready to go. Between 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 8 year old's, 2 10 year old's, and 1 husband it has managed to keep our tan carpet looking new. Blood, red juice, red wine, and various pet stains have all come out, just to name a few.

I used this for the first time last night to clean my very light colored (easy to stain) carpet, and was very impressed with it. I used it w/ a "rug doctor" rentable cleaning machine, and it got my carpets incredibly clean. I didn't bother pre-treating and it lifted out many old stains, and significantly lightened a large spot of shoe black that had spilled some months back. I feel so much better cleaning my carpet w/ something as natural as this since we have 2 dogs and 1 indoor cat, and many toxic cleaners leave me feeling faint and sick to my stomach. It left a light, but pleasant scent on my carpet as well which is much nicer than either a heavy perfume or chemical smell. I used up about half a bottle to clean my entire home, so it's very cost effective. I will certainly keep using this in the future.

This is a great product! It has a very pleasant smell, and has taken out just about every stain we've used it on. The smell is gentle and pleasant, and I feel better using this product as I have 2 indoor cats. I actually dilute it down a bit more than the instructions indicate (due to excess foam from my machine) and it cleans just as good as with the full usage. I got a big bottle of this about 18 months ago and have cleaned my carpets about 5 times and just need a new bottle soon. VERY economical and it feels good to know I'm not covering my floors with chemicals.

This is a wonderful product. We use this in our spot stain remover, and it is not only effective at removing carpet stains, but I do feel better using this around my cats since it is a natural product. It is economical, since we have found that a little goes a long way.

This is the first time using this product, and I really liked the effectiveness in cleaning and the fresh fragrance it left. It was quite good in getting out the dirt, and went a long way. I did the several rooms with only using about 1/3 of the bottle. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is tired of using expensive chemical smelling cleaners, and wants a fresh clean carpet in very little time.

We have been using this carpet shampoo in our heated carpet cleaner for years now, and I wouldn't use anything else! The carpet shampoo is very concentrated, so a little goes a long way! Even though our carpet cleaner dilutes it automatically, we have found that diluting it 4 oz. of shampoo to 2 oz. of water and adding that right to our carpet cleaner soap dispenser works great! The smell is amazing, just the right blend of bergamot and sage, which leaves your carpets smelling fresh and naturally antibacterial and antifungal. I feel good about using this around my family of humans and pets!
