Meet Our Lemon Ginger Blend Our Lemon Ginger tea is based on a traditional formula that supports digestion, eases minor stomach upset and provides a refreshing herbal pick-me-up. We use Organic Ginger, used for centuries by Ayurvedic practitioners to support digestion and warm the metabolism. The sourness of Lemon promotes the secretion of digestive juices* and provides the perfect counterpoint to the piquant-sweet taste of Ginger. Licorice and Peppermint Leaf add sophisticated nuance to the formula.
Enjoy a cup of Lemon Ginger tea when your tummy needs a little taming, when you need to reinvigorate your body, or when you simply want a delicious, healthy drink.
Yogi Principles
Tasting great is essential, but it isn't enough. If what we make doesn't taste great and leave you feeling great, we won't make it.
We think before we blend. How will our recipes work with body and mind?
Health is found in nature. We work with what nature already offers rather than trying to concoct it. We don't have laboratories. We have kitchens.
Creative combinations can optimize what nature has to offer. Ever added peppermint to ginger? They work together to produce a remarkably fresh and innovative taste and a remarkable level of energy.
Whenever possible, we work with wholes, not parts. For instance, we don't add vitamin C. We add rose hips, which are naturally rich in vitamin C.

This has a wonderfully spicy, real ginger flavor with tangy citrus notes. I haven't had an upset stomach on which to try out the therapeutic properties of the tea yet. As a pleasure drink it is mighty fine. Due to the refreshing nature of the tea, I'm not sure that I would want it as an evening/bedtime tea. It seems a bit too invigorating for that. It is, however, a good afternoon pick-me-up. The longer you let it steep, the spicier it will become. So, if you're not into hot (spicy) foods, you may want to take your bag out after just a minute or two. If you like spicy Thai or Mexican foods, this one'll be right up your alley!

Ginger and Lemon have long been a favorite of mine..Combined, yes, it works!
This tea has helped me get through many colds and illnesses and i always make sure my cabinets are fully stocked. I love the flavor of the spicy ginger combined with lemon and i usually add a small spoonfull of honey. If you are sick and need something to soothe your throat or stomach this is the tea for you! Even if you don't like the flavor or spicyness i would try it anyway because it will truly help you recover from your illness without any side effects .
True story: I had a cold so bad-chest & sinuseswere both completely clogged- this past winter that my mother was convinced I'd be under the weather ten days or more. On my most miserable day, about two days into the cold, I got serious about healing because I couldn't afford much time off of work. I alternated this tea, spiked w/ fresh lemon juice & extra powdered ginger, w/ plenty of bottled water. I alternated taking Dayquil & aspirin all day, taking Nyquil that night. I took a three-hour nap. I ate a bowl of chicken noodle spiced up w/ extra black pepper, 1 TSP. of Maharajah curry power, powdered ginger, 1 tsp. of fresh garlic & lemon juice. It smelled like India & so did I. I drank a glass each of orange juice & grapefruit juice & took massive quantities of Vitamin D. I took steam baths all day & saline sprayed my sinuses like it was going out of style. The cold was gone- GONE- in two days. So, yeah, can't say it was definitely the tea. But it didn't hurt! Trumeric, lemon & ginger are known for curing colds. Run, don't walk, towards those ingredients when under the weather.

I love YOGI teas-they are high quality, great tasting, and homeopathic. This one, Lemon Ginger, tastes great, with that tingly ginger taste and a touch of lemon. Could be stronger, a bit weak to me, I often use 2 teabags. Great for settling stomach after a large meal or indigestion.
YUCK! There is a very strong pepper-y taste to this stuff that I could not stomach. I'd much rather have Tazo's Green Ginger tea over this stuff any day. Don't know what I'm going to do with the rest of the box...
For best tea infusion, pour 8 oz boiling water over one Lemon Ginger tea bag and steep for 5 to 10 minutes. For a stronger effect, use 2 tea bags. Gently squeeze each tea bag to fully release the active ingredients. As a digestive aid, drink with your meal. Repeat 15-20 minutes after the meal, if needed. For upset stomach, sip a cup when necessary.
