it has been several years since i used a denture adhesive with zinc and i had forgotten how bad it tastes. the hold is comparable to the Fixodent Neutral that i prefer. but with this product, there is a constant unpleasant taste of zinc that is very unpleasant and distracting. folks who eat a lot of spicy foods may not be as bothered by this as i am, or may not even notice it at all, but it is enough to keep me from wanting to use this product again which is a shame since i'm now stuck with a full tube of a product i don't want!

I have found this product to work best and longest on my lower dentures. I prefer Fixodent products in general, and this one really does the job for me. I get the longest hold with this product, and I don't need to use a lot of it to get great hold for hours.

I have had upper and lower dentures for at least seven years thanks to Sjogrens syndrome. Fixodent is the only denture adhesive that I have used and have no plans to try any other brand.

I have upper and lower dentures. The lower one is an over-denture and it only stays in for about four hours depending what I eat, when I use this product.

Use daily, lasts all day. The "Free" of flavors version seems to be only available at drugstore.com which is why I buy it online now. Sometimes there are some deals for a bit of savings.

Different denture adhesives work differently for different people because each of us has a different pH level, or acidity, to our saliva and sweat. Fixodent Control is the best denture adhesive I've used, with virtually no taste and a strong, long-lasting hold (up to 48 hours), but for some people (like my husband) it barely lasts through a meal. If you're having trouble with another brand or even another formulation of Fixodent, try this. But like someone else posted, keep it on the cool side (in the fridge in summer) or else it will be too runny and not form a good seal.
