These kits are expensive, which would not be as much of a concern if you could count on all of the test sticks working. You can't. In a box of 7 test sticks, I routinely find that 2-3 will end up resulting in an error message. I'd recommend reading the book TAKING CHARGE OF YOUR FERTILITY and supplementing these tests with charting, otherwise you're likely to miss your fertility window waiting for these test sticks to work.

These tests are rather expensive, but they are worth it. My husband and I have been trying to concieve for 2 years and just started tracking temperatures daily. I have used this test kit for 3 months consecutively, and have only gotten one smiley face. That would be because I have only ovulated once of the 3 months. If you track your temperature in conjunction with this test, you will know that it works. Just because you think you "feel" yourself ovulating, does not mean you do. As a matter of fact, I tend to get more ovarian pains that appear to be ovulation pains, when I in fact do not ovulate. I tend to use this test starting day 10 every 36-48 hours. I am not pregnant yet, but I've only ovulated once since starting these. You may be able to get the same result from a cheaper test, but like I said, I trust that this one works as I know from my temperature that it was accurate.

This digital 'happy face' test is much easier to read than the standard blue line test. If you see a happy face in the results window, then your LH level is surging and you will probably ovulate in the next day or two. Since your LH surge is brief you will most likely only get one happy face per cycle if you test once a day. Good luck to everyone! :)

I used all the sticks there were & only got one smiley face. I started testing about 3-4 days before I was supposed to be ovulating, just in case, & now I don't know if you're only supposed to get one smiley face or what but that's all I got. it was hard for me to understand the directions about the whole 24-36 hour thing so my boyfriend had to explain it to me but when I got the smiley face it was the second-to-last test stick & the last one didn't give me a smiley face (I don't know if it was supposed to or not) but this was just recently, so all we have to do now is wait a couple weeks to see if they were accurate. so far they worked great! a bit pricey, though

After 13 months of trying to conceive (and a diagnosis of "unexplained" infertility), I successfully did so after using this kit for one cycle. I found other (cheaper, non-digital) testing kits to be hard to read and prone to malfunction. This one was unmistakably clear. Because of it, I was able to pinpoint ovulation (which happened much later than I'd figured). It's expensive for a single use kit, but I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Works as described, fast results and easy to read, but I was disappointed to find out that you cannot buy just the test strips, you need the whole digital gizmo every time.

Overall the product was great and did exactly what it said. The only negative I would have to say about it is that it has you start testing pretty early in your cycle so you end up using a lot of the test sticks. If you are monitoring BBT or CM you can wait until you think you are close to ovulating to use the sticks to verify.

I'm currently doing IUI's with Clomid and ins. doesn't cover any of the costs so I thought instead of doing ultrasounds, which are [$], I would try these. I never saw a smiley face and am still testing into CD 19. I even used this product before I started IUI's for 4 months and only saw one smiley face! This product is not worth the money. 99% accurate for who? I've started clomid and missed ovulation and cannot do IUI this month and am extremely unhappy as I only get 3 months to try.

I wasn't sure what to think about this product or if it would work, but I am now a believer! After a couple of months of trying to conceive "au natuale" DH and I decided to give some bathroom chemistry a try. My cycles were far from regular - sometimes 26 days, sometimes 28, etc. I started using the test kit on day 9 of my cycle, and on day 12 I got the happy face indicating the LH surge. Now, I am happy to report that we are 6 weeks pregnant! I highly recommend giving this product a try, especially if you're having some trouble decoding the mystery of your ovulation!

I used these darn tests like Soooooo many times. I calculated the best times to use them, they NEVER said anything but that I was not ovulating. Hell I felt myself ovulating and it still read the same. I spent a good $150 - $200 on these sticks (I think they should have the refills instead of making people shell out so much cash for the whole kits) and am now seeking a fertility specialist since I know I am fertile and ovulate, I am leaving the at home kits to someone else. ciao
