I recently had the toilets replaced in my home and was informed by my plumber that scrubbing with harsh powder cleaners would eventually damage the enamel. He recommended a liquid cleaner. Since I am on a sceptic system I also need something that is environmentally friendly. This product does it all. Easy to use. I follow the directions.... wait 10 minutes before scrubbing and now the toilets look like the day they were installed. Fresh and clean.

7th Generation products are simply the best! And this is the best toilet bowl cleaner I've used. Some reviewers are feeling it's not strong enough - well, it works best if you flush the toilet first (to get everything wet, especially under the rim). Then, AFTER the water stops, squirt it generously under the rim. Let it sit while you clean your sink for several minutes. Then, scrub with a newer (stiff) bowl brush starting under the rim, working down into the hole. DO NOT FLUSH! Let it sit & allow the natural cleaning enzymes to keep working until someone uses it. My toilet stays clean for a week! And like I said, no brain damage from toxic fumes, the bathroom smells nice, naturally. If you've thought about trying this, stop thinking & just order it! You'll love it!

it works well and smells good, but some strong stains remained a bit. I need to use a few time to clean them up.

I have really made an effort to turn away from harsh chemicals in the home, so I decided to to try this product. It seems to work just fine when I am scrubbing the toilets. But the unfortunate part of this cleaner is the clean bowl does not last. I am clean the house about once a week, and with the other bleach cleaners, when I cleaned the bowl a week later the bowl would still look clean. This product keeps the results for about 3-4 days.

Does not seem to clean well, even after sitting. I use several other products of this brand that I am happy with, just not this one.

This cleaner works well and I love the smell. Chemical cleaners leave a smell that is overwhelming. I like that it is natural and easy on the Earth.

Love this natural toilet bowl cleaner. I hate using harsh chemicals that get flushed into our water supply. This, as well as all of the 7th Generation products, are made from plant extracts. I really hate using products that rely on chemicals from the petroleum industry.

Works as well as anything else out there and no harsh chemical scent to inhale.
