Not bad...

Bottom Line: not recommended

I bought this because of all the great reviews. I have long fine hair, and before I was using the daring volumizing spray by Sunsilk. I have to say this doesn't work any better. In fact I still prefer the sunsilk which costs a third of the price. I give it three stars for not being BAD but not being good either, this product didn't really do anything except cost a lot! It doesn't cause buildup which is good for fine hair, but it doesn't "boost" my roots whatsoever. Try sunsilk.

I stared using 2 yrs ago when my hair was short & I was extremely impressed with this product! My hair is now much longer and very thick so it tends to lay flat. With the use of this product, my hair is much lighter and fluffy and more manageable. I had been buying from my hair stylist for a considerable higher price. I am glad to see it offered by drugstore.com!

I bought this solely because I read the reviews on this website and believe me it is AWESOME. I have curly hair that I wear straight and curly and it helps give me the volume that I need at the roots. I now cannot live without this product. My hair looks great! THANK YOU REVIEWERS!

This is the best root lift I have ever used. I have used this product for three years. Wet, dry and on two day old hair when I have to reblow my hair and it has put lift back into my hair. It is so good to know my hair doesn't have to be flat anymore and it is all because of this Root Boost.

I tried Tigi Catwalk Root Boost skeptically. I have thick, coarse, wavy/curly hair. Sometimes I blow it straight, sometimes I wear it wavy. My hair usually falls flat with weight, leaving it to look like a pyramid. This product has the strength to provide great lift to even my type of hair! I use it on the top layer of my hair, which I draw up into a pony tail. I spray the Root Boost underneath right at the roots. Whether I blow it out or let it air dry to a wavier style, it keeps the lift not only all day, but for 2-3 days. Highly recommended.

After filling my bathroom cabinet with root boost products that didn't do the job, I purchased this product. IT WORKS! My hair actually has some volume at the root... just where I wanted it to be. It's definitely a 5-star product!

I've let my hair grow out, and it tends to get flat. If I spray this before I blow dry or the roots before I roll them, it really helps give my hair some fullness. Doesn't leave it stiff or sticky, either.

My mother has short, rather fine hair (she's salt & pepper gray), and she uses this every day, before blow drying. She's not really one for salon type products, but whenever she tries to skimp, she always gets frustrated and goes back to her Root Boost. Her hair just lays flat without it.
