For me this is a GOD send. Not many men comment so I guess I'm the first. In 2 days I saw more of an improvement than 2 months of Proactiv. I felt that proactiv didn't do much and I was repeating the same process, but Neutrogena has to be the best! One problem about it is the skin cleanser tends to be like a gel and can fall off wherever you put it. Other than that, LOVE THE NEUTROGENA KIT!

I've been using this for about a week, and for the value, this product works well. I think you have to do some tweaking to accomodate your skin. I use the cleanser in the morning (and this is the only salicylic cleanser I've ever used that didn't irritate my skin!), followed by the oil free moisturizer and a good eye cream. At night, I wash with the original Neutrogena glycerin bar and then use the BP lotion only as needed, in my problem areas. After that, I follow up with a good moisturizer. I'm 32, and due to some life/marital stress and probably hormone issues, I developed a rash-like thing above my jawline, on my forehead, and sometimes on my cheeks along with a few (acne?) blemishes. Nothing worked at all until I tried this. If your skin dries out, the individual bottles suggest that you switch to using the product every other day. My skin is much clearer, much smoother, and very soft! It's worth a try.

I have been using this Neutrogena Acne Kit for approximately one year now, and I am VERY impressed with it!! Unlike a few other reviewers, my skin has not grown immune to the products contained in the kit. Instead, the products have gradually improved my skin over the past year - a definite plus. I am a female in my 30s, but I developed severe acne as a teen. In my 20s, the acne diminished after a course of Accutane, but unfortunately, it returned a few years later. Thankfully, it wasn't as severe though. I still battled constant breakouts, and my regimen of Stridex pads and Clearasil just wasn't cutting the cake. I tried ProActiv, but that only worked for a few months. I struggled with acne problems up until about a year ago, which is when I discovered this product. The cleaner in this kit can dry the skin out, so it is very important to use the moisturizer in the kit religiously. In fact, the moisturizer in this kit is the only one that my face has been able to tolerate. (Every other moisturizer has made my face break out more.) A huge bonus is the fact that the moisturizer contains SPF 15 for sun protection. My only small gripe is the fact that the night cream tube, which contains 2.5% benozyl peroxide, is too small. Because of this, I often run out of the night cream before the other products. I have discovered, however, that Neutrogena makes a similar product that contains 2.5 % benzoyl peroxide, so I use that until I need to purchase the entire kit again. One year after using this product, my skin is much clearer, and amazingly, the deep acne scars that developed during my teenage years are slowly beginning to fade. Occasionally, I still deal with a pimple, so don't expect to be completely acne free while using this product. But, the pimples are much smaller, and usually, I just get one per month. Also, they quickly respond to a dab of additional benzoyl peroxide. I highly recommend that you give this a try.

i used this for a little over 2 weeks and it works i think. my acne isnt fully gone yet but im noticing that the pimples i do have are begining to disappear even though they fully didn't yet-- so i hope it;s gonna continue to work and fully get rid of my acne! the only bsad thing i have is that i feel like there isnt enough of the product in the bottle. so that causes me to use very little amount of it when i think i should be using more of it but wtvr!

This product works fairly well on acne...but my skin is fairly normal/combination, and this dried out my skin like nothing else. The facial wash irritated my skin. The night lotion was horrible. I was better off not putting on any lotion at all, it was so drying. Sure, it cleared up my acne, but my face was dry and peeling. I had to switch. Unless your skin is really oily, don't use this.

I've only had this set for a week, but overall, it's been pretty good. I would consider my acne in the middle- not very bad, but not that mild either. The facial cleanser can be drying, but the lotions help with that. There have been a couple days where my skin looks pretty bad, but others when I wake up and its very clear! Someone even complimented me on how clear it was! I'm starting to see it work more effectively as time goes by. If you struggle with acne, you should certainly give this a try.

I LOVE this product. I have only been using it for a few days and my face has already cleared up. I normally use proactiv but I ran out and thought I would give this a try. I am glad I did... it's less expensive and works even better and faster for me. Acne medications work differently for different people so I know this product won't work for everyone but I would highly recommend at least trying it out.

This is awesome! I have never written a product review before, but this was so good I had too. I have tried everything (Proactiv, Murad, philosophy) and nothing worked. At 41 I have worse acne than when I was a teenager and this is the only thing I have found that works, and it works immediately. I noticed an improvement after one night. Please keep making it!!
