I love this serum -- I had 10 stitches over my brow in June and used this each night, and a scar-healing patch during the day. Just a few months later, the scar is only noticeable for those who know it's there. I continue to use this around my eyes for moisturizer -- it's amazing. As for the scent, it has one, but not at all objectionable in my opinion -- natural odor of the ingredients and not perfumey, as some people might be used to. In short, this works great for new scars. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I used in conjunction with the scar patch, and I cannot say that the oil alone was responsible for the improvement, but it certainly contributed strongly.

I used the serum on my tummy for 7 days and saw results right away. My scar had faded from dark brown to light pink and I'm sure after weeks of use the scar will fade to almost nothing. This is oil and not intended to be used on a face with an oily problem.

I have used Mederma and other pricey scar gels. This product is reasonably priced, and gives the same results as other scar gels. The only thing that I didn't like about this product was that it took a long time to see results - 2 to 3 months. It lightens the scars, but they are still visible. You need to keep using the product longer to see full results.

This stuff isn't all that great for the face. I developed acne a few months ago, and now that it's gone, I was left with a lot of reddish spots all over my face. I bought this stuff and I'm almost finished with the bottle and I see no difference. Not only does it not work, but it smells really, really bad and is very sticky, which makes it hard to wash off. I would not buy this stuff again.
