I was really afraid of this stuff as I'm very sensitive to any kind of herbs or medicines but my fears were unfounded. I needed to pack my garage in one weekend and had been a little sick the week before so I was really tired. I drank just half of a bottle of 5 Hour and within 40ish minutes, I felt really awake and alert, no buzzy, jittery feelings. I took the 2nd half the next day and it worked just the same. There was no crash, it felt very natural, and worked better than a couple cups of coffee. I will definitely use this as needed.

After all of the ads for this product, I figured I would give them a chance after being on sale here. I have to say that the first time I tried the product, it worked pretty quickly and lasted a fair amount of time. Everytime since then, I have noticed no immeidiate change in energy. If I am behind a desk for long periods, I have no added energy. Once I move around some more, even just a quick walk, I tend to become much more awake. Is it because of the drink or moving?...
I have found that immediately after drinking, I loose my appetite, and sometimes, even 1-2 hours later, I tend to get much more energetic and full of hunger. Keep in mind that I am a big coffee drinker, sometimes 3-4 cups a day, and in order to lower the sugar intake and carbs I will sometimes go straight for the double/triple espresso. I feel as with any supplement, one can build a tolerance. I like the taste of the item as i will sometimes dilute it in a small bottle of water to make it last longer and not be too sweet.
Overall not a bad product. I will just have to bring to the slopes to see if it has a benefit during prolonged physical activities.
5hour metabolizes quickly, doesn't hurt my stomach like a cup of coffee does & is consistently reliable. I only use 1/2 a bottle a day typically, but on days where I will be excercising for hours a little bit of this right before goes a long way with me. My guy uses it daily as well, but drinks the whole bottle in the morning were I would rather stretch it out & take a bit more in the afternoon (from my same bottle I started earlier in the morning), for this long excercise days. I am petite so weight/size value may make a difference in amounts one may wish to consume to get the best affect. I!m (5ft, size 0) & never feel a crash afterwards.
I can tell a difference when going for a run in my improved energy level and increased endurance. I also drink one when I am feeling the pull of a nap. Does not make me jittery.

No strange side effects like I would get with 0 carb. Rock star. Take it in place of my high sugar/calorie double shot soy cafe latte and is more effective especially since I have a vitamin B deficiency. Also helped a lot after getting a bad concussion which was not my first one. Doesn't effect my sensitive stomach and does exactly what it says. Wouldn't take in early evening unless you plan on staying up. Lost several pounds with the added energy and less sugar from my latte drinks.
First off this is just not about the 5 hour energy drink which is wonderful. It is about the ability of me to arrange repeated deliveries of everything on the site. I have the drink on a monthly delivery plan. Saves me from running out, always there when I need it. I love this version of the drink, great taste, no after taste and it is alway here when I need it. Good price also, you look at what the local stores are charging, and there is no reason not to get it from Drugstore.com
