I occasionally get very painful canker sores from accidental self-cheek bites. Found this liquid to be soothing and it seems to help speed healing. You dribble a few drops of the liquid (via the included applicator brush on the inside of the cap) onto the canker sore a few times a day and the canker sore will start to heal. I noticed in general that it cuts heal-time down to less than or about half, so a canker that I would have suffered for 2 weeks from is gone within a week or less, and one that would have lasted a week is gone in mere days. Also very good as a preventive method; if you feel a canker sore coming on, immediately dribble the liquid on the area a few times a day and it will prevent further canker sore development. However, as it is a liquid, it will get all in your mouth and you might swallow some of it. It's not too bad though; it has a herbal minty flavor that's nice once you get accustomed to it. I'd certainly rather use this stuff than suffer the painful canker sores.
