Although I usually don't go in for this type of stuff, I really do think that zinc helps knock back, shorten, or maybe even prevent a cold. I've been using another brand for the last few years but it would upset my stomach if I hadn't eaten anything and would leave a gross, sort of chalky taste in my mouth. I find these to be much tastier and not leave that chalky taste behind. I can't speak for the ease of use on my stomach as I just always wait to take one after I've eaten something after my experiences with the other zinc that I used to take. I agree with the other commenter in that if you are looking for your medicine to taste like candy you may be disappointed in this, but I think it tastes just fine and recommend it as a zinc supplement choice.

I find these taste fine. I guess if you want a lozenge that is like candy, smooth and super sweet, these are not for you. But I like them!

When it comes to zinc lozegenes, TASTE is everything. Those Coldeeze ones leave an awful taste in my mouth for days...these are not lozenges in a true sense. They are not smooth, they are crunchy-coated and taste terrible. I did not have my Zand around and tried these, and the taste is so bad, I threw them away.
