I am so disappointed, I used to use this hand soap for years, but hadn't bought it in a long time. Wish I had checked the reviews, but I thought I knew exactly what I was getting. The Verbena now smells horrible. Others have called it "chemical" - but I actually thought it smelled like rotting food or nasty blue cheese! It literally made me gag. And it makes me furious when companies change their product formulas with no warning.

I have purchased this product for years to place at all the bathroom sinks, the utility room sink and the kitchen sink. It has always been great; the scent was very nice, the soap was nice on the hands, and the packaging is attractive and useful. However, this time it arrived and I immediately thought something was different. The color of the liquid was much darker, and most of the containers were not sealed in plastic wrap; as they always have been in the past.. A couple of them had opened in transit leaving soap all over my order. Most disappointing, however, was the scent. This cannot be the same formula that I've received in the past. The scent and color are completely different, and I don't like it. Worse yet, I ordered 16 units!

The bottle was not closed tightly and had leaked some soap into the packing box. I preferred the previous color of the soap.

I love the fragrance of this soap! I keep it in my kitchen and bathroom.

I have ordered this soap for years as it had a great smell, and we used it for showering on a daily basis. However, I just received my new order, and the formula has been changed which gives it a chemical odor--it smells like motor oil. The color, consistency and smell are totally different than in the past. Regretfully, I will be discontinuing use of this product and will be returning the product I just received.

This has been my favorite hand soap of all time. Now the formula has changed and it smells like a bad chemical. It isn't pleasant. I donated my order to a local shelter hoping they can use it regardless of the smell. I will not order this soap again until they go back to the original formula. It was perfect before; why try to fix it? Obviously they didn't ask customers what we thought about making improvements before proceeding. Too bad for all concerned.

The product is still a good product but the verbena soap used to have the most delicious scent and now it smells like tropical fruit, which is okay as long as you weren't ordering specifically for the lemon scent.

I loved the old formula-lovely scent,pearlescent color.The bottle I just received is chartreuse, and smells like chemicals,not lemon.I would toss it, but I don't like to be wasteful and fill up the landfill.

Hi! Just a warning. This was my favorite hand soap of all time, I absolutely loved the scent. Gave it as gifts to others who also began purchasing it. When I opened my last purchase, the lovely scent was gone. I thought I had a defective batch but it looks like the ingredients have been changed. Please bring back the original and let me know when it is available again. Curious as to whether the other fragrance formulas have changed.
