My supermarket no longer carries good crystallized ginger, so I was happy to find this at drugstore.com. Reeds ginger is excellent and all natural. Candied ginger is a great snack, but it is also good for a sore throat.

Take along when traveling or stressful times.

I don't like the taste of ginger, but there is just enough sweetness in these crystallized ginger pieces to make them tolerable. Slowly chewing on one or two always settles all but the very worst queasy stomach. They've been a part of my home remedy kit since my children were small.

Bought this mainly to have on hand for upset stomach. I simmer in hot water for tea. Smooth and sweet. Also good snack. Have chopped super fine and added to vanilla ice cream. Spicy! Convienent package size.

Not a pure ginger flavor

I bought this ginger for two reasons - first, I like the taste of candied ginger; second, I sometimes have upset stomach and I use ginger in tea or ginger ale to help settle my stomach, so I thought I would try this product. I just want to say that I am very please on both accounts. This candied ginger is sweet, but not too sweet. The spiciness is just right. It does indeed settle my stomach any time it is a bit upset. It is also a nice mid-morning or afternoon snack with my tea or coffee. Overall - a great product.

I use this product to soothe an uneasy stomach cause by indigestion or motion sickness. It tastes great and works well.

This product is in nice big pieces, much easier for someone like me who snacks on crystallized ginger(and doesn't bake/cook with it). The flavor of this is good. Cryatallized ginger isn't cheap anywhere, so I don't feel this is an unreasonable price for what you get.
