This straightener is the best I've ever used, and I've used many. It really does work on wet hair, but I prefer to let my hair air dry for a little bit before I straighten. It doesn't save me time as opposed to blow-drying and using a regular straightening iron, but my hair looks and feels a LOT healthier. It's also pin straight, and the results last for a long time.

This is a great straightener. I have been using a Hot Tools flat iron for the past two years, and it was starting to lose its touch. I decided to buy this one, and I love it. Not only does it get your hair straight, it makes it soft and shiny too. I have straight hair to begin with, but I like to flatten it out anyway, and this does the trick. I haven't tried it on wet hair yet, but it is wonderful even just to use on dry hair. I really recommend this product! I also love the features, such as a beep when it is turned on and off, and also when it is heated up. Also, it turns off automatically when you leave it on, which is great because you can leave it plugged in. I was tempted to spend more money on a more expensive straightener, but I definitely made the right choice in buying this one!

This flat iron is great. My hair is pin straight, shiny and soft. I go over the roots of my hair 3 times with the flat iron first to get them dry, and then run it down the rest of my hair about 3 or 4 times. I have to use setting 30. I used it on wet hair and it is great. Took about the same time as blow drying and curling my hair with a Gold'n'Hot curling iron, but it looks much healthier and shinier. This was my first time using it, but I'm sure I'll get faster as I use it more. I used a leave in styling creme before straightening my hair. I am African American and have curly hair (about the same texture as the singer Mya). I don't have a relaxer. The best part is the price. I would recommend this to anyone. If you kinky hair you might as well try it, what do you have to lose?

I love this hair straightener [so far anyway]. It came in the mail today and I used it pretty much as soon as it arrived. I've had hair straighteners before, but this one was much better. It heated REALLY quickly - and I love how you can adjust the setting and everything. I tested it out on the "Wet to dry" thing because my hair was damp when I used it. It really did work on wet hair! I have pretty thick hair that is hard to straighten and takes forever to straighten. [it's not curly, just THICK] Anyway, most of the time it takes FOREVER to straighten all of my hair - but this didn't take that long! It's still hard to get the back of my head, but that's pretty much my own fault. Usually when I straighten my hair it "un-straightens" itself in a few hours, but it's been over five hours and my hair is still straight and beautiful! It feels nice and even looks a little shinier. I would recommend this product. =)

Excellent product! My hair is long, thick, and curly, so blow drying can be a long, tiresome, task. This wet/dry iron completely eliminates that step. With the help of some Redken Straightening Balm, it came out silky and straight as pin. But watch out for those steam burns. Ouch!

This is the best product for curly, coarse, frizzy, hard to straighten hair. It is easy to use. It saves time since you only use one device; no need for blow drier and flat iron. People compliment my hair and think that I just had it chemically relaxed. I wish that this had been invented sooner.

I was impressed with this straightener. The fact that it straightens from wet to dry is great, even though it doesn't always save a lot of time. I found it to work best when I added a smoothing creme to my wet hair and then straightened my hair. My hair came out straight, smooth and shiny.
