I have had this product for a month, and have used it probably 20 times. After the first few times I used it, my hair started to snag. I didn't see anything on the plates that would have done this, but I cleaned it with a soft cloth and water. Still snagging. It does heat up quickly, and has plenty of settings. The control buttons are definitely not well placed. There is no way to straighten your hair with out hitting them. Also, you must be very careful when using it on wet hair! I have burned my fingers, (my fault), and I have burned my scalp trying to get close enough to dry my whole section. It does do a great job at straightening your hair, but beware of the steam!

I love this straightner. I LOVE the fact that i don't have to dry my hair before i use it. It is a GREAT straightner for the price. DOes a really nice job. The only thing i would say to u if u r a new user is to be carefull not to hold ur hand to close to the edge when u r doing it when ur hair is wet as u might get a little "steam burn" if ur not carefull. Again ,GREAT product and very affordable. My friend asked me to straighten her hair with this, and i tried it on my hair and she never got it back! I am purchasing one of my own now though so i can take it with me overseas. Another plus as well.(dual voltage):)

I love this. It straightens my thick, wavy, frizzy hair to smooth and shiney. It heats up fast. The controls on the handle are a little bit in the way but I don't mind it.

This is a wonderful flat iron that you can use on any hairtype. Although I don't recommend using it on wet hair, you can definitely start straightening after a light blow dry. Overall it's wonderful, but it does take it's time to reach higher levels of heat.

I use this iron every week, and the beggining I wasn't sure it could be posible to have my hair from damp and frizzy to straight & shinny in one step. What I really love about this product is that the results last for long time. I live in Miami & the weather is always hot & humid with this product I don't have to worry about that.. This is an excellent product!!! and it's worth it!! But keep in mind to read the instructions before use it, as well as follow the settings for your type of hair...

I've been using this straightener since I was 15. I've only had to buy TWO in that time. They each last about two years and the heat is the same as the day it was bought. It eventually just stops turning on one day. And then u go buy a new one! Cheap too. I have VERY thick, dense, curly, frizzy, LONG (to my elbows), and damaged hair. This is THE ONLY straightener that works for me. HOWEVER, I don't care what a box tells you NEVER USE A HOT ELEMENT ON WET HAIR. Once you get used to using a hair straightener, it only takes about 15 minutes to straighten your hair! Great for the money, better than the chi! BUY IT.

I was using a different straightener for years [the tiniest, cheapest thing I could find], but then when I went to a friend's house I tried hers and I was amazed! I love this straightener and I bought one for myself as soon as I could find it. This straightener works best when your hair isn't completely wet. I have just slightly wavy hair, so I towel dry, spot blow dry, and then use the straightener, and it works fantastic! My hair is completely frizz free and pin straight for the rest of the day. I'm so happy I switched straighteners!!

I have had this straightener for three years and I love it. I generally blow dry my hair until damp and then use this to dry it the rest of the way and straighten it. I think that if you flatiron your hair damp it tends to last longer.

It was really great I have long curly hair and it straightened it so nicely and works great on dry or wet hair. Also, it left my hair frizzy but there's product for that to fix it!! It was so nice!!!
