I just got my straightener yesterday,and tried it out immediately. My hair is VERY thick, curly, and frizzy, I have mixed hair. The results I got from it was amazing. My hair stayed straight until I walked out the door and it became a little frizzy. I have to keep touching it up every now and then. That's why I only gave it 4 stars. Since I only have to touch it up a few times, I'm not complaining because the price was very cheap.

This hair straightener was on sale at a drug store and figured I'd try it. I've used a straightener before but my hair always turned out frizzy and never really smooth straight. I got home and immediately tried it out. The first section of hair I did it on totally astounded me. I could not believe how smooth, straight, and shiny my hair was. Section after section, I grew in amazement. I could not stop looking at myself in the mirror after straightening. I never thought I could get the straight hair that I've wanted unless I had it went the expensive route. I was done and over with straightening my hair, but this straightener has definitely got me thinking twice. I am so glad that I stumbled upon this little miracle. The digital setting is easy to adjust and takes < 1 minute. The heat is consistent throughout use, but I get afraid that I might accidentally burn my scalp from getting it too close.

I was really surprised at the results after I used this product. The frizz was gone and my hair looks great! I have mostly straight but frizzy hair that looks pretty sloppy so I tied it in a pony all the time. Now I don't have to tie it back. I blow-dry my hair to about 85% and then I use the iron to tame those frizzies away. The variable heat is great and the swivel cord doesn't tangle. Be careful to set the heat correctly because I'm sure that one can scorch by using too high of a setting.

This is the best hair appliance I've ever owned. I have long wavy hair, and this dries and straightens it perfectly. And my hair stays straight for a couple of days.

You get what you pay for! This item was horrible and totally couldn't be used on wet hair...I felt like I was deceived by the advertising. I bought a Chi straightener and it is a lot more expensive but worth its weight in gold. I would stay away from any drugstore products for straightening!

I owned a Chi hair straightener until it broke and my mom bought me this one as a replacement. It works just as well and I can use it on wet hair. I find that it helps if the hair is somewhat dry, but I love it. I feel like my hair is softer! I have horrible hair if it's not straight. It's not wavy or curly and it's thick and frizzy. I always use the high setting and it looks like I have naturally straight hair. Great product!

My hair is curly and long. I find it harder to use this when my hair is wet. I usually blow dry my hair until it is almost dried. You know to the point that is just all over the place and a frizzy ball! Then I put some Bed Head After Party stuff, and the Bed Head Boy Toy stuff in my hair, enough to get it in control, then I start ironing the hair out starting at the bottom and making my way to the top. It takes me about an hour to get it ironed out, and the Wet2Dry stays hot the whole time. I have always wanted straight hair but never could get it unless I paid to go to a salon!! But no more -- my hair looks great everyday. I usually wash my hair every other day or third day, because it is so thick, and I just touch it up in the morning with the Wet2Dry. Best thing I have ever found to get this hair under control!!!

I absolutely love this iron!!! It works on my very dry brittle over-processed hair. I had a bad perm that killed my hair and hate the curl...this product took it right out. I had to have help with the back of my hair due to a shoulder issue, but it works awesome!!!! Yes it gets really got, but I cannot understand how other users didn't manage to work around it...I had no problems, it just requires care. Not that big of a deal. Great product!!!
