I was so glad when this straightener came along. I had been hoping someone would make a straightening iron that could be used on wet hair because I really hate the noise of a blow-dryer and my hair takes forever to dry naturally. Using the Wet2Straight I can get my thick, curly hair straightened in about 45 minutes to an hour. That seems like a long time, but it would take me an hour just to blow dry my hair. This method is a lot easier on the arms and gets my hair straighter than I was ever able to get it before.

This is the best straightener that I have used on my hair. It straightens my hair very straight and it doesn't get as frizzy as normal. I only give it 3 stars because it gives your hair this weird smell and it stinks...so it isn't worth having bad smelling hair.

I bought this hair straightener as a test and I was hoping it would work on my hair. The first hair straightener I ever had only worked if I got my hair wet, left SOME of it down, put the rest of it in a ponytail. The hair that was down I would have to dry, then immediately straighten. That straightener was so horrid on my hair I only straightened it when it was a special occasion. The Remington Wet 2 Straight it takes care of my thick, wavy damaged hair and makes it REALLY soft, very straight and even shinier than it ever has been before. And even though it does get really hot on the outside it works like a charm. I would recommend this product any day.

I didn't even have it for 6 months and it shorted out on me; it doesn't work anymore. It was convenient to straighten my wet hair, but I always had to reference the manual to see what setting the straightener needs to be on. Additionally, my hair never really got very straight from this product.

Let me describe my hair to you. The length of my hair is about to the end of my shoulder bone. It gets frizzy very easily. It is very wavy and thick. I tried the product and I was so unhappy with it. It didn't even dry my hair and made my hair even worse than what it was.

I just order this Remington Wet2Straight, and I used it only once, and OMG!!! The results were great. My hair is flat like a pancake. The only thing I regret was that I didn't notice they had it here, and I ending up buying it from Sears for a few more bucks, but it's worth it.

I love, love, LOVE this straightener! I have to admit, I was skeptical at first, because I'd had bad luck with a "Wal-Mart" straightener before...not so with this one. I used to use my roommate's Chi, so I know a good straightener when I use one! This one works just as well as the Chi, and it has the added bonuses of adjustable heat settings and the ability to be used on damp hair! Only one drawback: it takes a long, long time to dry completely wet hair. I would recommend using it on damp to dry hair for the best effect. Still, it does an amazing job on my extremely thick, wavy, frizzy hair -- this thing leaves it poker straight. If you're looking for a professional-quality, economical, fully-functional straightening iron that really works, this is it!!! Enjoy!

This saves me so much time. I am a swimmer and with my hair wet all the time it takes forever to blow dry/air dry my looooooong (a little below the middle of my back) medium-thick, wavy/curly hair. But with this amazing tool, it only take me 10 minutes more than it does when I let my hair air dry for 2 hours, so the total time with my hair being damp is 35 minutes. This tool is totally worth the cost and is great if you have a date/special occasion within an hour.

I have naturally curly hair which I had straightened via the Japanese straightening method. As your hair grows, the top comes out curly, the bottom stays straight. I used the Conair straightener, which I was very pleased with, but I LOVED the Remington Wet to Dry because it was quick, quick, quick! I didn't have to wait for my hair to dry, or blow-dry it (which would further damage it - although I always use a leave-in conditioner). All straighteners last only for a short period, because they seem to get wear away at the edges and pull the hair, but again, I highly recommend the Remington.
