I have been biting my nails/cuticles for years & I have finally stopped! I was amazed with all the great reviews and figured I would shell out the dough. Well - I kinda feel like it made my cuticles look more dry before I started using this. I also have to agree with the other review about it turning pasty/powdery (especially in the corners of the nail bed). It does have a nice, light lemon scent so maybe I will try using this on my elbows so it doesn't go to waste.

I have been using the solid formula Palmer's cocoa butter and it works so much better at half the price. You can't even tell my fingers used to look like raw meat!

I have dry/cracking cuticles from multiple hand-washing and dealing with harsh chemicals. I've tried so very many products, none of which were nearly as good as this, and most of which were greasy and stinky.

The scent is light if you can detect it at all, but best of all, it actually heals the dry cuticles so that the dead skin just kind of disappears and the healthy skin stays moisturized. No more having to cut away the dead skin, and I can use it at my desk and type right away because it does not makes my hands greasy.

I only use it on the cuticles, I can't review what it does for the whole hand as a general moisturizer.

This is a great total hand treatment....very moisturizing. I abuse my hands....wash dishes in HOT water, garden, paint etc all without gloves....this is a wonderful product - the best hand cream I've found.

Wow, 17 reviews and each with 5 star ratings. Am I missing something??
- Things that are great about it: Not much. It smells good.
- Things that aren't so great about it: It does not strengthen, protect, or nourish (as stated under the Product Details tab); does not absorb well, and it created a paste like layer as it dried (similar to Glysomed), requiring me to wipe my hands on a paper towel before touching anything.

I live in Colorado, and the climate is extremely dry, requiring me to use hand lotion/cream throughout the day. I'm quite disappointed with this product, considering the brand, and more importantly, price. It did nothing for my nails or cuticles.

I was having a problem with dry brittle nails. I couldn't do anything without a nail splitting or breaking. I keep this on my desk and use it daily, at least once, and sometimes twice a day. I truly went from no nails at all to gorgeous strong nails in a very short time. It also keeps my hands soft, and my cuticles managable as well.

It worked so well on my hands that decided to try it on a patch of dry skin I'd been fighting on my elbow. I'd used every brand and kind of moisturizing skin cream to keep it soft, and nothing worked for long so I decided to try this. Within 2 days, it was better than it ever has been.

I'm not fond of perfumy smells, but this is not bad, and the aroma goes away quickly so it's not an issue. I LOVE this cream and recommend it to everyone!

This has SAVED my cuticles and hands! In the cold but very dry central Oregon winters, my hands cuticles and fingertips turn into a mess. My fingertips were split, my cuticles were torn and tender. My hands looked old and leathery. Thanks to drugstore.com for carrying this and thanks to the previous reviewers! Yes this IS expensive, but I've learned that just a small amount is enough to do the trick. It smells a little like tea tree oil and lemongrass, but it's mild and dissipates quickly. I actually like the smell now. If your cuticles & hands are in poor shape, buy this, use it for a week or two and you'll be amazed at the difference it makes. It even made my nails look healthier!

I have terrible problems with my cuticles adhering to my fingernails and growing out with the nail... I've used so many cuticle creams and nothing ever makes a difference... UNTIL NOW! I use this on my cuticles nightly and sometimes even throughout the day... I even rub it into my hands it feels so luxurious... and I even use it on my toenails and feet. It moisturizes and conditions my nails... I have thin, brittle nails and I definitely notice a difference... even with the first use.

At first it seems oily, but once you work it in, it becomes very silky. A little goes a long way! Love the fragrance too.
