WE have only used this product for about a month. It seems to be working, but unfortunately my cat used to scratch without fleas anyway so I can't leave an exact review. Sorry.

Program is for me the only way to flea-treat my two cats. Mixed in canned food, there is no struggle. I used to use topical monthly flea treatment, but one of my cats bites (it takes three people to hold her at the vet) and the other gets upset and pees on the furniture. With Program, no bites and no peeing.
PROGRAM® (lufenuron) Suspension is administered by mixing into a small amount of wet food. To ensure complete absorption, always give the cat its normal meal after dosing.
In multiple cat households, each cat should be treated separately to ensure adequate dosing.
PROGRAM Suspension has no effect on adult fleas, but controls flea populations by breaking the flea life cycle at the egg stage.
Treatment may begin at any time of the year and should continue until the end of the flea season. If there is a risk of exposure to fleas year-round, then treatment should continue the entire year without interruption.
It is important to treat all cats in the household with lufenuron suspension or tablets. Dogs in the same household should be treated with lufenuron tablets.
PROGRAM Suspension must be administered monthly, preferably on the same date each month.
