Before peri-menopause hit, I had already made the decision to avoid HRT. Then at about 45, my symptoms were INTENSE, but I maintained my determination to take a natural route. This is a miracle product! After having about 15 severe hot flashes per day for about 2 months straight, and having tried products with black cohosh (which did not work for me), and fearful of prescribed hormone replacement, I drove to the drug store and chose Promensil as it seemed more natural than some of the other products. I couldn't believe it... in less than 2 days, my hot flashes almost completely stopped. I take one every morning as soon as I wake up. I have never been one to take vitamins or supplements of any kind, but as long as this continues to work, I will continue to use this product! It has also helped with my memory. I was beginning to become a bit forgetful. Now, I feel like my old self again!

I have been using this supplement for 5 or 6 years now. I was taken off a menopausal medicine by my doctor and a friend of mine suggested taking Promensil. After having a complete hysterectomy in 1997, I was placed on synthetic hormones. Even with taking the hormones, I had hot flashes, especially at night, so bad I would have to sometimes get up and change the sheets. I eventually had a stroke in 2000 at which time I quit taking the hormones and began trying OTC ones. I tried several before finally trying this one...I have been taking this product since then and can honestly say it works better than the synthetic hormones ever did without all the side effects! At a physician check-up, I informed the doc about the change from Premarin to Promensil and he commended the improvements in my health and recommended I continue taking it! It is hard to find in local stores lately, so I hope Drugstore.com continues to carry it!

Reaching periomenopause last year, I began to having around 25-30 horrible hot flashes per day. It was almost becoming normal to me. After taking Promensil for one week, I realized that an entire day had passed without even one hot flash. This product is fabulous for hot flashes. Now if it only helped with the aches and huge bloating!!
