That is, until I discovered Psi Bands. They work by accupressure and are highly effective. I usually put them on in advance if I know a particularly windy road is coming up, and they prevent the nausea effectively. They can also reduce the nausea if placed after it starts, but it's better to apply them before hand. I've even shared my psi bands with someone else who was seasick once (we each used one) and it helped us both. The bands are adjustable. Just twist the dial after it's in place to put more or less pressure to fine tune the adjustment. I tend to use a good amount of pressure, so when the band comes off you see little circular imprints where the pressure was applied. VS Most Liked Negative Review Great on the first try and then.... Used a bracelet on a boat ride and for back seat travel and never felt a thing. After the initial use, the band seemed to have "stretched" a little so I can't get the most effective pressure (I suppose). I tried to use it again on a short bus ride and ambitiously tried to read - got nauseaus immediately with no relief. Bought 4 so I'll see if a new one does me better. Comments about Psi Bands Drug-Free Wrist Bands for the Relief of Nausea, Racer Black, 1 pr: I bought these bands to help with morning sickness and have not found them to be helpful. I'm still sick and the bands leave irritation marks on my skin.

Comments about Psi Bands Drug-Free Wrist Bands for the Relief of Nausea, Racer Black, 1 pr: My 16 year old is learning to fly through Civil Air Patrol. During the hot summers in Georgia and flying in a small Cessna, he would feel a bit ill after a few hours of airtime. The bands are perfect! No drugs, no drowsy side effects and they look like a watch band.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Psi Bands Drug-Free Wrist Bands for the Relief of Nausea, Racer Black, 1 pr: I thought these would help, based on other reviews. They didn't seem to help that much for me, yet either does the fancy [$]. watch impulse item my husband bought for me to replace these. I still get that yucky feeling in my stomach when I fly in his small plane. I think the motion sickness tablets actually work better for me.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Psi Bands Drug-Free Wrist Bands for the Relief of Nausea, Racer Black, 1 pr: I wore the psi bands continuously while at sea and I never felt nauseous or seasick. Getting them wet was not a problem since they are plastic, not fabric. After several hours of wear however the button over the pressure point felt tight and left quite a mark on my wrist.

Comments about Psi Bands Drug-Free Wrist Bands for the Relief of Nausea, Racer Black, 1 pr: Didn't think it would work. Always relied on drugs or medicine. This is great! You just have to remember to put them on BEFORE you start to travel and/or have symptoms.

Comments about Psi Bands Drug-Free Wrist Bands for the Relief of Nausea, Racer Black, 1 pr: I bought Psi bands for a recent trip to Asia. I am normally very sensative to travel and quickly experience symptoms of motion sickness...for example, I can have motion sickness symptoms after being in a taxi for less than 10 minutes. However, I just spent two weeks in Asia on planes, trains, boats, gondolas, busses and cars. I wore the Psi bands religiously and had ZERO symptoms. They worked instantly and as for the style, they look like you are just wearing a watch (well, two). It could be a question of mind over matter, but they worked for me and I had a fabulous vacation in part thanks to Psi bands.

Comments about Psi Bands Drug-Free Wrist Bands for the Relief of Nausea, Racer Black, 1 pr: I initially used this product during the early months of pregnancy with good results. I like these are more fashionable and easier to clean than the elastic type bands. My only complaint is that they don't come in a larger size, these just did fit my large wrists. I really wish I had these bracelets with me during a recent cross-country flight, but unfortunately I had lent them to a pregnant friend! Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » ![]() |
