I have TERRIBLE motion sickness and have spent a good amount of time lying down on the boat deck or in the back seat rather thatn enjoying the beautiful scenery because of it. That is, until I discovered Psi Bands. They work by accupressure and are highly effective. I usually put them on in advance if I know a particularly windy road is coming up, and they prevent the nausea effectively. They can also reduce the nausea if placed after it starts, but it's better to apply them before hand. I've even shared my psi bands with someone else who was seasick once (we each used one) and it helped us both. The bands are adjustable. Just twist the dial after it's in place to put more or less pressure to fine tune the adjustment. I tend to use a good amount of pressure, so when the band comes off you see little circular imprints where the pressure was applied.

This is one of my ESSENTIAL travel items. No trips to the mountains or boat rides without it now! And, they just look like cute little bracelets.

Chose Psi Bands instead of Explorer Band because all of the reviews were about the same - no point in spending $140 over [$] for the same result. Used a bracelet on a boat ride and for back seat travel and never felt a thing. After the initial use, the band seemed to have "stretched" a little so I can't get the most effective pressure (I suppose). I tried to use it again on a short bus ride and ambitiously tried to read - got nauseaus immediately with no relief. Bought 4 so I'll see if a new one does me better.

I was skeptical at first but wanted to try everything I could to prevent myself from getting sea sick on my 7 day cruise. I used a combination of Bonine twice daily and when the boat was sailing I put the Psi Bands on. I felt great not all sea sick or nausea.

My only complaint is that it leaves a dime sized mark on your wrists where the pressure points were and at times it got itchy. I put a little cortisone cream on it and the itch went away. Other than that I was very happy that they worked!!!

I recently was diagnosed with colon cancer and had to endure 6 months of chemo therapy. The nasea was terrible and I was reluctant to take more medication to combat the nausea. I tried the Psi bands and was excited to find that they worked great. I would put them on and the nausea would disappear. I would highly recommend them to chemo patients.

I used these bands on a Baltic cruise. They worked extremely well! I was so glad I had them. I put them on as the trip hit some rough water. They worked almost immediately. I kept them on the rest of the trip - just to be safe. I had an extra pair that I shared with a fellow traveler whom I met on the trip. She, too, loved them and was so grateful that I shared them with her. Of course, the fact that they looked so good was an extra bonus that others noticed.

These bands didn't work so well for me, were hard to keep positioned and to get on easily. The other "sea bands" on the market seem to be easier to use and just as effective.

these bands did not work at all for my morning sickness. They state they are fashionable, I don't agree since you have to wear both of them at the same time.

Even good for people who aren't pregnant and suffer from nausea for whatever reason. Definitely better than the totally drugged feeling effects of traditional anti-emetic medication (i.e., Phenergan). Works in about 10 minutes with no side effects! Very highly recommended!

I'm 7 weeks pregnant, and my morning sickness started about a week ago. I ordered these instead of the Sea-Bands because the package details stated that they were created especially for pregnancy. I put them on as soon as they arrived, and have not taken them off for any reason but to shower. (I do get pretty nauseous by the time I'm done showering and have to put them back on soon after.) They have reduced my nausea significantly, and although they are a bit uncomfortable on the skin (they leave welts), it's well worth it. I no longer have to constantly nibble on crackers! Highly recommended.

I was traveling in France and had taken Psi Bands along, just in case. I usually try to sit in the front seat of any bus or car because I'm highly sensitive to motion sickness. But this particular day, I didn't get a front seat and, sure enough, I started to feel ill. As I dug in my pack for my Psi Bands and as I hurried to put them on, I was getting sicker and wishing I had worn them before boarding. Within 10 minutes of putting them on I started to feel better. Within 20 minutes I felt fine. Needless to say, I wore them whenever I was on a bus for the rest of the trip.
