We own 2 of the PUR Ultimate Dispensers so we're never out of filtered watered to drink. When one is empty and being filled, the other is there to drink and these are the filters we use.
We were having (5) 3 gallon bottles of water delivered by a certain water delivery company. The 5 bottles of water and renting their dispenser was costing us a TON of $$$ a month. STUPID, I know. I decided to look into a different system and decided to try PUR water system instead.
With the initial cost of filters and 2 PUR Ultimate Dispensers.... By using this system we are saving a boat load of $$$$.$$ (after the initial cost...which was waaaaay less than what we were paying per month). SO, if you have your water delivered by one of those companies, you really should think about this PUR system.
The water from this system is the best we've ever tasted and I LOVE knowing I and my family are not drinking polluted, disgusting, chemical ridden water. The PUR system is worth every penny. I haven't found one thing to not like about it.

Have used this for years now and it has been very functional. At first I too bemoaned the fact they changed from the orange gauging tab to this design but I have gotten used to it. I don't believe it filters as well as their faucet 3 stage filters but had trouble with those - they tended to fall apart over time and also was not good for the faucet itself (I was told by a plumber that it voided warranties on faucets and he didn't recommend installing them). All in all it does a good job and greatly improves the quality and taste of water and it lasts about the two months they say it will on the sticker. I have heard Brita is ok but they don't filter quite as well.

I really love my Pur canister water system, and this is the only place I have been able to find the filters. They clear most of what I want to purify from my water. Thank you for carrying them!

Doesn't last as long as advertised. I had a pitcher that had as light that changed color when the filter was to be changed. It broke after 4 or 5 uses.

The Pur dispenser sits next to the kitchen sink and filters about a gallon of water at a time. Very convenient, but all my local stores quit carrying the replacement filters. I found them by doing a web search, and Drugstore.com had the best deal. Twice! I am a returning customer and will continue to be.

we have hard, bad tasting water. The Pur lasts about 3 months per filter for us. We have been using this filter for many years. Tried another type, AquaSpace and the filter didn't last more than one month plus the replacement filters were very costly. Back to Pur for us.
