Our Cherry Cashew Bar contains dried, unsweetened, organic tart cherries. Cherries are undoubtedly one of the most antioxidant-rich foods, with powerful phytonutrients and a good dose of Vitamin C, to promote healthy aging and a strong immune system. We choose extremely high quality tart Oregon cherries with excellent flavor that are not sugar-infused (like many), but are carefully dried in their natural state.

Comments about Pure Organic Raw Fruit & Nuts Bars, Cherry Cashew, 12 ea:
These are reasonably priced for organic food bars. They have added rice protein, along w/ the fruit & nut ingredients, and a moderate 17g of sugar in only 190 calories. That makes it an excellent breakfast w/ the cup of green tea I enjoy in the morning. Unfortunately they decided to use sour pie cherries, instead of sweet black ones, so the sour pieces stand out in the otherwise bland bar. They use flavorless agave syrup to sweeten it a bit. I wonder why no one uses strong flavored, sweet fruit like banana or pineapple for bars like these?
Getting a completely organic breakfast effortlessly makes me want to stay with this brand. Maybe the apple cinnamon ones will taste better.
