I have tried most of the Pure Protein flavors, and this is definitely my favorite. I'm not that big on lots of chocolate in products like this, so the choc peanut butter, double choc, and smores are a little too chocolatey. This is a good balance of chocolate and not chocolate flavors. It's not too dry, even without lots of chocolate, and tastes good even though there are very few carbs (and lots of protein). I find meat heavy to digest, so I don't eat it often, but I work out strenuously almost every day and need more protein that I get from my ordinary diet. In general, my diet tends to be very carb loaded; this is a great way to get more protein, and it doesn't feel "heavy" to digest -- I eat one in a 20 to 30 minute break between workout sessions, and it doesn't drag me down at all.

When I'm short on time and need to eat. It's quick, easy and provides me with some much needed energy to finish my day. Also after a long workout, it's a good supplement right after before I can sit and have a meal.

I love this protein bar. I usually have one for breakfast to tie me over until lunch. It keeps me VERY full, and at 200 calories for the Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor, I think it's great! I'd like to try the other flavors as well. I like this one as it's very low in sugar and high in protein.
I'm not sure why it got a negative review? It's a PROTEIN bar not a CHOCOLATE bar. If you're looking for a fattening bar, go get a snickers. Sheesh!

I buy these for my grandson - the basketball player. With his busy college schedule and many workouts and practices, he loves having a supply of the Pure Protien bars. He likes the taste, the good nutrition they provide and the "pick me up" before or after basketball practice! I even bought some for my retired husband as a nutritional in- between-meal snack. He loves them too!
