A good alternative to larger bars that sometimes leave you feeling like you've swallowed a clay brick. Lots of protein and a fair amount of nutrients in a small bar without too many calories. The flavor is a little on the sickly sweet side and the peanut chocolate tastes quite artificial but its still bearable. Most bars are like this, I know. I've re-ordered a few times, so while I'm complaining, I'm still eating them.

Okay the chocolate is real and its melty and delicious. There is a great serving of protein as well. While the bar is tasty however, eating this bar is like chewing on a tire. Gnawing, gnawing and gnawing with no end in sight. It takes away from the whole delicious experience that could've taken place if the bar was easier to chew and swallow.
I have to rate this as two stars because I still have a whole box and do not have the heart, energy or jaw muscles to eat them. Try the Luna bar in Caramel Brownie Nut. It serves the same purpose, is tastier and most important: It's easy to chew and digest.

I really love these bars. I try to keep them in stock all the time.Perfect for snacks and pre-workout when Im too hungry and cant get a good workout when im feeling depleted. Just a few bites with some water and I start to feel better! I almost never leave home without one in my bag. Love them but I think its OVERPRICED on here. Places like [@] offer the 6 pack for several $$ less.Most of the popular pharmacy store chains cost just a smig more than [@].I dont get how can this site offer a 12pk for almost $30?? I love tbe Chocolate Deluxe flavor. I buy these and carry one in my purse if I'm going to be out running errands and don't have time to stop for lunch. Also, if I'm rushed in the morning, instead of having breakfast, I'll have a bar. With a lot of protein (I never seem to eat enough with my regular meals), low fat and sugar, these are a great meal substitute. I feel like I'm eating a candy bar that's good for me!!!!! Very easy to chew with a rich choclatey taste. Since they're a little pricey, I wait until they go on sale. I've gotten them for only [$] each in the past. Cheap meal!

I use this to add the needed protein to my diet without adding all of that nasty sugar. This bar tastes good and doesn't upset my stomach. There is a minimal amount of sugar alcohols in this product, but not so much that it throws my digestion out of whack. I will be getting this again. My favorite ie the chocolate-peanut butter.

The bars have good nutritional value, but they are very difficult to chew. Perhaps they were stale. You could damage jaw or teeth trying to chew them if you are not careful.

It's important to feed muscles within an hour (or sooner) of your workout for best benefits. Protein bars provide for the easiest way to accomplish this goal. "Pure Protein" has a great balance of fat, carbs and protein. These bars are low on sugar as well.
I have been pleased with the taste of all flavors, my current favorite being chocolate peanut butter. The texture is dense but easy to chew.. I look forward to these each workout day.

I started using this product because I have been battling two back surgeries n recoveries and this had tons of protein and vitamins, plus 2g of sugar and low carbs. I used to eat balance and clif bars and the amout of sugar and carbs I might as well eat a candy bar. The pure protein actually fills you up. I started using it for a nutritional supplement, stayed with it because of that, great taste, stats, and keeps me full. My rec is to have one of these and a yogurt,I use activia, or sugar free, its a great breakfast with lots of nutrition to start out the day!
