This is a very good-tasting bar with lots of protein and way less fat than a lot of other bars. Of course, the fat is what makes energy bars easy to wolf down. I don't want one that tastes exactly like a candy bar, because then I'd eat too many! Some mornings I don't have time to eat something before heading to the gym -- I keep these in my locker for those days. The label says you should drink water with or after eating it... which you're going to do anyway if you're exercising. Best of all, drugstore.com has a fantastic price on Pure Protein bars.

I have done a lot of research in finding the perfect protein bar that provides sufficient protein without overloading on fat and sugar. Pure Protein provides the best of both worlds, minimizing fats and sugars, while still providing a great deal of protein.
HOWEVER, STAY AWAY FROM THIS FLAVOR. I have tried Chocolate Peanut Butter, Chocolate Deluxe, Peanut Marshmallow Eclipse, Blueberry Crumb Cake, and ALL of these flavors taste much better than Strawberry Shortcake. Strawberry Shortcake is mealy and bitter. The other flavors are delicious, so stick with those.

I have a sweet tooth. And I think that the taste of most of the protein bars in todays market are tolerable at best. Whether its the texture, the taste, the aftertaste, or the grams of sugar:grams of protein ratio... I was disappointed in my options. Until I found these. This flavor along with the blueberry flavor are most like a dessert or treat and you're not giving up the good protein content or packing in a lot of extra sugar.

I had gastric bypass surgery, and I love these bars. I eat them with my coffee in the morning and they fill me up all day. Great product....Need to sell in stores.

This package shows strawberries, when you open the product package and take a bite the inside of bar looks more like paste from a tube squeezed on top of bar before final coating. Doesn't taste much like strawberries, thick feeling, thick chewy, hard to go down. Won't be purchasing again.

This product helps me reach my protein goals for the day. It is easy to carry around with me.
The problem was it got too hot and the coating had melted on all the bars which made it hard to eat them. After refrigeration pieces of the coating would flake off.

These are a staple of mine along with the choc/pnut butter ones, eat these bars three times a day then eat a sensible meal of about 500-700 calories. I've lost 35 lbs since March 5th and couldn't be more thrilled. I will continue to use these bars to help me keep my weight off. Out of all the bars I've looked at & tried these have the lowest calories w/ he most protein and taste the best. Very thankful I discovered them!!
