I read all the reviews here and decided to give it a shot and I'm glad I did. I have pretty thin hair that's a bit wavy, but can easily be straightened out and this product gives my normal FLAT hair a lot of volume without making it sticky or stiff. Remember to shake well before applying. I part my hair and shoot it at my roots in key spots that need more volume - like the crown of my head. The best part of this product is that it doesn't weigh down my hair. I've used other root lifters in the past that have dulled my hair too and this keeps it shiny. I highly recommend it!

In the past, the Root Lift was one of my favorite hair products for my fine, flat hair. I was thrilled when I found it on drugstore.com. Not happy. The product DID not come out like mousse even after ordering a 2nd bottle. It dispensed watery and left a sticky alcohol residue in my hair. Very disappointing...

I have REALLY fine, thin, straight hair and this does help. Of course it does not perfrom miralces, but it does give lift and some body. Also it does not weigh my hair down. (Big plus for thin, fine hair.)[...]
