This a must have for anyone who has....well, HAIR! I can't see it not working on any type of hair. But you must be careful ~ you only need a smidge. That's why it lasts so long. Been using this for about 3 years and am almost through my second jar. I can't live without it. Ulta stopped carrying it and I bought some Redken product that weighed my hair down and left it yucky feeling. Pureology's Dry Shine is the most perfect styling product for the follicularly blessed!

It helps maintain the pieced/fluffed kind of look I like for my short hair. During the day, I can tousle my hair with my fingers and it looks fresh, which isn't the case without this product. I've tried lots of other products and don't like them nearly as well. The only time I have a problem with it is if I use too much; then my hair looks dirty and weighted down.

This purchase was a mistake for me. I read reviews claiming it separates and pieces the hair, which is the messy look I would like to have. I have straight, shoulder length fine hair, but lots of it. I tried this product all different ways and different amounts. My conclusion is that this is NOT for someone with fine hair. No matter how/when I applied or how little, it left my hair limp. I think this might be good for someone with very course hair, or if you have frizzies, or if you are trying to tame very curly hair. Other than that, I am sorry to have to rate this a thumbs down.

I use it to give my hair a lift and it is great for traveling. I scoop out enough for each trip and carry in small container

I use this occasionally but find that I have to be very careful not to use too much - it's so easy to accidently use too much & then it's greasy and weighs my hair down. It smells great and adds shine and lets me get that piecey look on my short style

I borrowed this product from my roommate when i ran out of hairspray a while ago. Wow! was i amazed when i opened it up. The smell is truly intoxicating! It's great for keeping bangs in place and taming ponytails. In fact, i think it's far superior to hairspray since it doesn't make your hair hard, sticky, or clumpy like many hairsprays do. A little goes a long way though, so be careful not to use too much or your hair will end up looking greasy. Needless to say I promptly bought a jar of the Shine and Control Dryshine Styler a year ago and I'm only halfway through it. Aah-mazing! It's expensive but lasts much longer then others of its type. Completely worth the price!
